  • what a load of rubbish. A million different toys by projecting either an eye or a face? please, stop taking the piss.

  • @monogroncho I'm gonna guess that you're one of the dislikers who tried putting your iPhone on your iPad then nothing happened :\

  • @TigerClaws12894 don't own either. Are you really going to tell me that this is innovative and awesome?

    1. Windows 7

    2. It's a computer. Are computer's upgradable?

    1. Not quite. The systems on the market today with multi touch are meant for one user at a time. A dozen or more people can use Surface at the same time. The hardware in home PC's isn't suitable.

    2. Did Microsoft design this thing with upgrades in mind, or do they expect you to replace it when the next major version comes out? $12,500 is a lot of money to spend every year or two.

  • Can Surface be adapted for biometrics? (fingerprint or face recognition)

  • Most likely, yes.

  • 1. When will we see Surface available at prices the average consumer can afford (or justify)?

    2. Are todays Surface computers upgradable? When the next generation CPU or graphics technology comes along, will I have to scrap my Surface and buy a new one? At $12,500, it's too much to have to do every couple years.

    3. I'm sure every has seen those 3D HP commercials, where people are manipulating 3D images of common objects. Is that the ultimate goal for Surface?

  • i wanted to buy surface but it costs 12.500$ !

  • very good

  • Wow, this is the most interesting use of Surface that I've seen for a long time. Great stuff! Tons of possibilities. I could see this being put into that D&D app, for instance. :)

  • Yes, the contact surface is completely water proof. If you've not had a chance to touch one, think of the plastic material that an office chair wold sit on to make rolling easier. it's just like that.

  • When my kids come to the office, there's a 90% chance they spill on it. All we do is just wipe it up. It's at the Rio and Hard Rock Cafe on the strip in Vegas. Both get a lot of drinks spilled, I'm sure.

  • Is the screen slightly resistance to water? I know that you guys made an application for looking at drinks in bars but what would happen if somebody spilled their drink?
