  • fuck that. i'd rather watch.

  • Actually, parallel squats put a great deal of pressure on the knees, as opposed to the "ATG" squats. With the former, all the stress remains on your knees because you're stopping midway through the movement. With the latter, your knees actually recruit assistance from the surrounding muscles, thereby easing stress to them.

  • @muzimuzi and just read m5p944 again he said he didn't go low enough I was stating the fact that he did dumbass

  • @muzimuzi bullshit going below parallel is bad for your joints and it takes all the tension off the muscle his form in this video is perfect so I don't know why you are arguing with me on n that when i stated he had perfect form its in the opening sentence now what I was saying is that yes if he wanted to do 3 quarter sqauts he could and get the same benefit but ass to grass is stupid I cannot squat parallel anymore due t o football injury so don't talk shit to me boy

  • great form!

  • @m5p944 his form is perfect if anything it is too low. I am studying to become a strength an conditioning coordinator goin parallel or as your dumbass puts it as to grass is terrible on your knee and other joints going quarter or half squats keep the quads tighter the whole time and keeps the wieht all on the quad with taking it off at the bottom whn he goes parralel and puts it on the joints. hisnlegs are actually getting stronger using this form.

  • @BigSwole52 you're an idiot you cant be serious if you think going to low is bad for your knees i thought this myth was begning to vansih from planet earth but then i see morons like you ... his depth was fine and he didnt go deep because he was using a lowbar position where you dont dip the squat you normally go paralel but as is squats are meant to be deep' like elit hulse says if you cant squat deep you aint worth shit - better go look for eliot hulse squat video and watch the first video...

  • he was inspired by the music!!

  • Parallel only. Not deep enough. This is my lockout work. Ass to grass man. Affraid of hole? I know you have to dump 150 pounds to go ass to grass but hey good thing is you will become functional athlete. Carryover effect to all sports is greater. This carryover to nothing. You can't even change the tire in this position when you go flat.

  • @m5p944 he was using a lowbar positon you normally dont go ATG with that form you know... then again the guy commented on you hes the bigger idiot

  • Awesome! Now you can carry all the bitches back to your home on your back ...even the fat ones

  • I think most of you are overlooking the fact that he made such powerful squats to such wimpy music! Put on something with more balls and im sure this guy would be nailing 6-700 no problem! :P

  • Nice jop dude! I've got 405 for 3 reps!! But thats struggling! I couldnt even imagine another 30 lbs!! Doesnt seem like much, but its a huge difference!

  • strong as hell

  • anyone watch this after reading the description and to see deep squats?

  • @insanefluffer I saw a strong man but no ATG squats :(

  • Made that look easy! Nice job!

  • damn tahts impressive, really good form too. not low enough by my standards, but still better than 90% of the "squats" on youtube IMO lol. good job.

  • damn u couldve got ten reps

  • 4 dislikes??? Damn, people are picky.

  • You didn't even hit parallel....

  • i wanna touch his ass...

  • I love how everyone on youtube is a pro at everything lol The number 1 mistake I see at the gym is people assuming they know the goal of your training. Bodybuilding, strength training/competitive , and sports squats are all going to look different. Deep squats, parallel squats, and 1/4 squats all have their place. As well as sumo stance, shoulder width toes out, and narrow toes straight. Don't assume you know what an athlete's goal is before you criticize. Nice Job Dude! sick weight!

  • jepsonj shut the fuck up

  • Nice work!

  • Dude, you had 2 more easy

  • thats not a deep squat.... thats barely even parallel. Get your hips to drop straight down, tighten your upper back, push your elbows forward, and stand up.

  • @jepsonj Why don't you show us all how it's done BIG GUY ?? I would put money on it you're too small -weak and scared to post anything !!!

  • Form was good and that is a shit load of weight. But you aren't going deep either. In this video you were going to a 90 degree aka parallel. Deep is when you squat to at least where your calves and hamstrings touch.

  • when i squat my feet go out ward how can i stop that

  • okey

  • good work,i wish i could get that form

  • that bar is whippy as fuck!! good work son

  • how many kilos is tht mate?

  • @050974154 About 220

  • perfect squat, real deal dude, i like to squat the first 2-3 reps to get into the "zone", it's a complex move and position is everything, so I do 1 or 2 and get to that perfect zone and then complete with about 10-12 reps with lower weight of course !!

  • Dammmmmmmmmn

  • Great Stuff !!! No belt, thats how squats are meant to be. Your abs and lower back must steel forged !!! I always squat without belt - but my max now is just 140KG*5. Do you deadlift?

  • FUARK! youre like capitain amurikuh! MIRIN/10

  • Going on personal experience, if you took off those trainers and squatted either barefoot or with proper weightlifting shoes, you could easily break 500, and with a belt who knows what you can achieve! haha

  • nice

  • This guy is stronger than steel, look at the bar, shaking even more than him.

  • greate man

  • what is your height/bodyweight? and do u bodybuild for a living?

  • just last week I did one 25lb plate on each side for 6 reps that means I did 50 pounds counting the bar that weighs 45 pounds for a grand total of 95 pounds for 6 reps and I am amazed at my progress because last month I could only squat 85 pounds, I am becoming the powerhouse I was meant to be.

  • @Eddie2446 hmmm

  • well i was squatting 405 in high school (2005 i graduated stopped lifting for about 3 years)...got out of weight training...now back in it since im a fireman...man if i wouldnt have stopped lifting...now im back on path...squatting 315 for 8 reps on my last 2 sets....feels great doesnt it?

  • Very good there guy aint much good squatters now a days every body ducks squats..

  • you are god!!! no knee straps.. no back straps.. you are awesome bro!!

  • throw 2 5's on each side and you'll break 500 ayyy

  • You are a very strong dude. I read somewhere that you weigh 185? At 5 11"?

  • This is my training partner Tommy. I took the vid and posted it. Check his acct. name sporto4323. He's actually about 225 now. 185 is when he's torn to shreds.

  • 225 pounds at 5 11"?!? I am jealous! :-)

  • @Azzkikr548 how do you do so many i can do 225 but im gona just try 3 plates today lol and do you think if your that strong you can take on a ufc? like if u can squatt 315

  • whats the difference between a fitness centre and a gym ?

  • @pakibuilder Your mom

  • I can see your glute and hams dominant...catch up with some powerifter...you're squat will se sky numbers trust me!

  • You had pretty good form you were at least going to parallel its very rare to see that on here. Keep up the good work.

  • My favorite thing about this video is that it's in a fitness center. You usually don't see someone handle weight like this in a fitness center. Good video.

  • agreed
