I agree with holder350. It seems like a bit too much power is pulling from your USB port. I'm sure it works, but I think that usb only has 5v and those are 12v fans. But the stock fans in the back of your xbox is the same situation. 12v fans running at 5v. Over worked and under paid lol...

Microsoft doesn't recommend an Intercooler, but 1 week after my intercooler died on me, so did my Xbox.

Too late for warranty so I just bought a new 360 and a new intercooler (With it's own seperate powersource). It was more expensive than my first one so I asked if they had any older ones & the guy @ store told me the new ones are better. He said the CPU in the 360 would be faster without the extra current drain from the intercooler.

The 360 has two fans already built into the system. The problem is the entire design stinks. Its an electric space heater wrapped in plastic that also has the ability to play video games. When I finally got rid of all the crap I built around it and just placed a desk fan next to it to constantly blow cooler ambient air onto it, my room heats up approx 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
