On a different note, some people here made some remarks about the films of Satyajit Ray and how they have potrayed India to the west. yeah i remember this song even though i was only 3 years old. In this movie the mom ill treats the son cause he is a bastard child but the two other kids love him. Urmila is the oldest of the daughters who is now very famous indian star. The other two are in the movie Mohabette as grown ups. chek it out also a good movie but cant beat this classic, its a tear jerker so get ur tissues with you when watching this movie.

First of, Kim Sharma was born in 1980 and this film was released in 1983..so it's obvious that the girl in the film looks much older than 2-3 years old! According to both Wikipedia and IMDb, Kim Sharma was born in January 21, 1980 and her first film was Mohabbatein (2000). Both sites have not mentioned anything about her appearance in Masoom [1983].

Further, when filming Masoom, she must have been about 2 and half years old and the little girl in the film looks little more than that and that is my doubt.
