you can hit the notes, just be weary of inntonation , and rushing, i know at the end of the piece the an accelarondo , but you rush the theme, even the staccoto , 16th notes needed pace.
when your playing make sure all notes are speaking and if you can keep you music high so when your playing your head isnt down making you flat and keep playing that was great. this year for region band I made piccolo and I made piccolo for state to so just keep swiming (dora says ) good job
that wasz amazing *.* especially cuz u hit all those jumps on that piccolo lol. do u have a wooden one too? cuz lol i wud not b able to play that on my metal one... lol that was really great... especially the begining :D
Oh my god you looked so funny playing it, you are my new best friend.
I closed my ear for the first 5 seconds because of such annoying high sound but later you were really into it and looked kinda cute moving around fast with the sound and giving it all you got, so cute.
Hmm..Ya know, piccolo is really high. My band director at school wants me to start playing piccolo, do you get lots of head aches from that? Or do you not really notice? Because I think thats how it is with flute. Is piccolo all the same fingerings?
I also just started with piccolo... it's not a bigg difference to the flûte... It's just at the beginning not so easy, caus' of the lips... and the fingerings are the same, it's one note less. the do. and it's an octave higher than the flûte... but I guess, you knew that :) Piccolo is great
@youandmet0gether Yea Youu are suposse to play with ear plugs youu can go deaf and deaf people around youu like beacuse the piccolo is pointin toward your right ear i think and if youu play like really loud and 2nd octave yourr suposse to play with ear plugss and if youu dont youu can get a loud ringing noise in youur ear and it never goes away so i suggest youu play withear plugs ;\
Yes, I know what you mean, my camera kills all the dynamics too, everybody just always commented that I should have more dynamics, sigh..... I used to have 32, but I sold it. :(
WTF...

This is really good. You should post it on the Musical Overture site so more recruiters and conductors will see it.

this is really good but the sound gets a little off when you move your head around so try to keep still.

@youandmet0gether yes, you are supposed to in your right ear so it doesn't dammage your hearin in that ear due to the high pitches of the instrument
naturegirl1234 1 year ago
@youandmet0gether Using an ear plug in at least your right ear while playing inside will keep from losing any hearing.

How come you don't start at the beginning of the piece?
and are you following the conductor? (you're supposed to)
You have great playing, even if your quality is diminished by the camera. :(
You're very cute too~
cherrybunny6 3 years ago 6
really? in the faq it stands that you only have to play a move-out of that eroica.
and when I play I cannot hear the Orchestra of Tan Dun...and tan Dun isn´t always right with his conducting engagements.
youandmet0gether 3 years ago
Well, you're also supposed to follow the conductor so when they make the collaborative video, they have everyone playing together.
It also says in the FAQ that they will judge you using the conducting video if you're in time or not.
It's very hard for me to follow his conducting too, which is why when I audition I'll have headphones on so I can hear them. :)
cherrybunny6 3 years ago
piccolo is too loud for my headphones..I really tried it first..but it doesn´t work.
youandmet0gether 3 years ago
Well, find an easy way to make yourself in time... cause otherwise you might not make it!
I know you have the skill, but I don't want you to get disqualified!
cherrybunny6 3 years ago
are you sure it's possible auditioning on flute and on piccolo too?
Bencio91 3 years ago
no! so I send it on my other name. naleni.
