  • she s amazing

  • Excuse me, this is a BEGINNERS dance lesson?! I hope my P.E. classes won't get this complicated 0.o

  • Hi

Have a look at username patrickdelano and his Jive Recap 3 clip

Different sort of thing to this.

Also try Kav Kavanagh in youtube search.

  • I've tried both thx. It wasn't as hard as it looked actually. I was surprised to find that two girls were discussing who would be my dance partner while I was still dancing with a third girl 0.o Thank you so much for the suggestions! :)

  • Simon twice referred to a "signal" that precedes or accompanies the Flick Spin, yet I couldn't spot what the signal actually was. Was it the girl raising her right arm? I just supposed she wanted to be excused for five minutes.

  • I am sure the signal is :

Leaders left hand low and pulled to your right.

Also Leaders right hand placed on ladies left hip ( to steady her ).

Flick spin ( & releasing ) lady clockwise with your left hand. Also push slightly with your right hand at smae time to help with the clockwise spin ( & also avoid confusion for the lady )

  • having read this

    i really am confused !

  • great we do this in devon fantastic evenings

  • Hi

Next time you come up to London, Visit us at JiveNation & have a free evening dancing.

    Gerry

  • That second routine should bring smiles to the faces of every osteopath in London. Don't try this at home, as they say!

  • That woman is a hottie! I would definitely dance with her!

  • Cool, In canada though they call it the east coast swing!

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your comment.

This shown above is known as CEROC or MODERN JIVE in the UK.

I expect you do more footwork than shown here, in your dancing in Canada & US ??

We do have WCS now in the UK, But no ECS !

  • Lots of ECS in Uk. You just have to look for it. lol

  • Thanx for that info wOOdface

  • I dont understand why they are calling this "jive"? Jive here in the United States is a triple-step dance, and it is HARD TO LEARN. This couple is doing turns but no triple steps. What is going on?

  • Hi, I have emailed you before. This is MODERN JIVE alias Ceroc & it is a very European dance.

Please see my video This is the " REAL" United Kingdom jive. by Kav Kavanagh.

Under {(..more) About Thus Video} is an explanation.
