I'm wondering if anyone else is going through things with BoA. My dad pays his mortage on time every month, but still they have workers from India call our house at least once every two hours during the day about his loan payment. Of course he is at WORK, but they continue to call every one to two hours, from India, during the WORK DAY! And yes some days they do call EVERY SINGLE HOUR FOR 4-6 HOURS!!

What the hell is going on with these people?? Is this NORMAL?

does talk to them they tell him he owes $600 dollars more than his normal payment! He asks where the $600 came from...

THEY DON'T KNOW.. what does it say in their records about it?...

NOTHING OTHER THAN HE OWES $600 MORE.... is there anyone there that can tell him anything about this...

So transfer...transfer...transfer until he gets someone in the U.S. offices loan offices. They look through their records, no $600, others look, nothing, the supervisor looks, STILL NOTHING...

Finally they tell him that he doesn't owe anything other than his normal payment. They don't know where the Indian office got that extra money other than fees that are charged when first getting the loan that are usually either dropped or intergrated into the loan payments. But THEY saw no such fees at all owing for my father. AND that loans are handled in AMERICA not India, so what the hell are these people constantly calling here for??

Thank you for this comment, I was yesterday able to send BOA full payment of my remaining credit card bill and have cut up their credit card -- nevermore to be used. Per their opt-out agreement my account will now be cancelled.

I can guarantee with certainty that their mindless automated systems will at some point send me a future offer to enroll for a new BOA credit card.

The credit card companies will act ethically only when enough citizens join together and say "NO."

Here's how you start to fix all these problems

Everyone.

Take that credit card and cut it up.

Call them and cancel the account.

Dont just stop useing it because they are working on a new penalty charge for "NOT USING" your card.

they will crap themselves when 40 million people call them up.. Then they wont have a choice but to fix it. Its as easy as that...

I declare March 1st 2010 the day we all call your card Co and take control.. pass it on.

Thank you for these comments, FYI I rejected the proposed interest rate increase and will be able to pay off my balance at its' current rate as long as I don't use their credit card.

BOA marketing dept is clueless and must think that their good customers are idiots -- they had the nerve to recently send me a balance transfer offer with a teaser interest rate. Two weeks later they mailed me an offer to refinance my current mortage with BOA.

They need to watch my video.

Yea - they did me even worse. Paid my mortgage they held payments to cause the illusion of debt (this is fraud by the way) they lowered my credit 750 to 550 then raised my rates. This is the 2nd time they did this. My attorney is handling this again. BOA is the absolute worst.
