@soldierofdec I respectfully disagree. This planet has a shelf-life and we'll never even see that date because we'll need to start migrating long before if we wanna live. So we need as much space travel as possible. As long as we are constantly collecting data from those guys floating around in space (usually it's a bit more structured than that) then we are building a knowledge base for succesfully getting people out of here so our species can survive. Yeah really... The Earth is revolving around the sun, and think of centrifugal force, its trying to pull AWAY from the sun, because of its previous velocity. The Sun pulls on the earth with its gravity, and combined, they result in revolution. The other planets also have their own effects, but they vary due to position, thus we have tides etc. Simple, really.

Discovery aired a documentary on Hollow Earth and Andrew Byrd some time in the 90's. Here's some advice: if you don't know the scientific method off the top of your head, if you do not have some amateur understanding of the sciences involved in things such as this (not saying current theories are founded, by any means), if you have not developed critical thinking habits, you should start with developing those. The world is full of theories, give yourselves the tools to discern between them!

@soldierofdec I respectfully disagree. This planet has a shelf-life and we'll never even see that date because we'll need to start migrating long before if we wanna live. So we need as much space travel as possible. As long as we are constantly collecting data from those guys floating around in space (usually it's a bit more structured than that) then we are building a knowledge base for succesfully getting people out of here so our species can survive. Yeah really... The Earth is revolving around the sun, and think of centrifugal force, its trying to pull AWAY from the sun, because of its previous velocity. The Sun pulls on the earth with its gravity, and combined, they result in revolution. The other planets also have their own effects, but they vary due to position, thus we have tides etc. Simple, really.

Einstein's theory of SR shows that mass warps space time, the size of an object doesn't really mean it will effect or warp space time than a smaller object, unless the smaller object is travelling at high velocity and the gravity filed as we know it creates the increase of mass/energy by turning inertia energy into mass with a gravitational influence, slowing time.

The Idea of a hollow earth is just very impractical. If that diagram is correct, then explain why there's magma undernieth us? Please explain Volcanoes? And if there really is a "Central Sun" Wouldn't that be where the gravity is? Wouldn't anything/anybody just fall right into the "Central Sun" and burn up? But more importantly, why? Here's some advice: if you don't know the scientific method off the top of your head, if you do not have some amateur understanding of the sciences involved in things such as this (not saying current theories are founded, by any means), if you have not developed critical thinking habits, you should start with developing those. The world is full of theories, give yourselves the tools to discern between them!
