Information is great however if you can use contrast colors with a  realistic example.

It would really help. Are you using a pressing board underneath?

What I see is a white fabric with pink splotches, and something that looks like a yellow bathrobe tie on the left side. An explanation of Japanese thread would be helpful.

Great ideas, just can not see what you are doing. You need darker fabric for your example so we can see it.

I love the idea, and I have been a pin baster for years, but just may convert to thread if it will fix some of my distortions.
