I've seen the original, which has been taken down, and it is a fake. It is a metal disk suspended by a thin wire to promote a musical band. The disc is about 10-15 centimetres wide. And I captured the original video on to my computer. So there is no cgi used because it wasn't necessary. It ends by a man grabbing it down and placing it on a wall with the band's name on the disk.

(Noise reduction goes with square root times

Now turn on PhotoZoom professional and

enlarge the composite object in question with S-Spline algorithm. With CompuPic professional, you can recreate the chroma-key mask (even after IDCT/DCT recoding). With MatLab 6, you can also check the

pixelation ratio. I have not found one UFO

footage, where this value is consitent.

The ratio between pixel size of the object in

question and the surrounding objects must be exact 1. A mismatch I call a 'inconsistency' -

or more simple, a CG fake.

However sorry to tell you that such analysis

takes a lot of time and I does not make it commercially (yet). Ask a buddy that

is physicist, El. Eng., etc., he must have

MatLab with all the nice filter weaponary.

more high (spatial) frequency components after

DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) to save space.

However, you can recreate theese lost components by overlaying several HPF'd frames to one still image. Noise vanes with sqrt(number of frames). Same principle, as you

had a 1bit ADC. If you avarage four samples

from it, accuracy doubles to 2bit - and so one. Heisenberg's law. That's all.

We have to make a difference between

'reconstruction' and 'guessing'. Whenever you zoom into a digital image, your software has to guess the missing pixels. Multi frame averaging does a TRUE reconstruction job. So you can extract production artefacts like pixelation ratios, overlay polygons, a.o..

Forensic image analysis does it the same way.

If you are interested in the matter, I suggest

you look into digital signal processing theory. (Strong math background required!)
