The new torsion key is con. All it does is add preload to the torsion bar the same as cranking up the stock key. So if you think it does something else you need to think about what is happening that makes the front end higher. The new one is adding more twist (preload) to the bar only using less bolt threads to do so. If you cant get enuff from the bolt your bars might be shot and need replaced. And dont forget you will be adding a higher constant running angle to your front cv joints.
@pimpdaddyxwing I have the same truck and rough country makes a suspension lift 5inches for like 759 bucks. really depends on how big u wana go and what size tires u wana run.
hey man i got an 05 1500 ram too same color too lol i just snapped a leaf spring the other day and now kinda wanna lift it i was looks at pro comps 6 inch front 3 in the rear i really need some help here. and do the leveling kits mess with suspension parts i heard there bad on ur truck???? also lookin into doin some performance mods like chipin it idk wut to get there either i noticed ur truck i thought had one please msg me back as i cant drive my truck right now :( its pretty much all stock to
Since a slightly lowered front end (standard on most vehicles) supposedly improves steering, handling, and under-vehicle aerodynamics, do we really want the front of a vehicle level with the rear? Would seem the benefits (cosmetics) don't outweigh the losses.
I want that for my dakota sport. It does great in the snow but it keeps on getting caught in the driveway and builds up snow in the axle. After that its fine.
does anyone know about rear coil spacers i just bought two rear coil spacers for my expedition but a mechanic scared me yesterday and said those things are dangerous.
@8320884 well not dangerous. ive been drive wioth spacers in front for 150k to gain more clearence for mny snow plow. it work great but ya the stability of the car is sufering. ont top your coil will use 3 time faster
@stonehamilton I have a 06 ram 1500 trx4 with 2.5 ready lift leveling kit up front and 2" blocks in the back and i'm running 35 with aftermarket rims. No rubbing
I have never used rough country keys. ReadyLift's keys are forged, not cast - I am not 100% sure but rough country keys looks cast. That equals a lot less strength while your driving down the highway and hit a bump going 60MPH. In all my trucks I only trust ReadyLift
nice truck bro

I belive an empty truck should set higger in the back, that way when you actually use it as a truck it rides level.

How much do those bigger tires effect the accuracy of your speed gauge. just wondering.
Project97x 1 year ago
@Project97x from stock to 35" on my 06 ram the gauge would say 60 but the gps said 65-66 and 50 would be around 55 so about 10 percent
