  • Yes Schumacher drive in 8 cilinders of the 10. 2 is in mal function

  • @PsilocybeBRA

Yes : you should add that Bellof was faster than Senna

  • @bonshommes @PsilocybeBRA

1st: Senna was 4 seconds faster than anybody else.

2nd: Stefan Bellof's car was illegal, it was too light.

  • @bonshommes In 97 Monaco Schumacher was also 4-5 seconds a lap faster in early laps

  • @PsilocybeBRA

the ferrari was not the best car in 1996, and its not fair to say its only the car.

best example is this video here, the williams is the best car, but hill and villeneuve arent able to use the advatage of this car...

  • i think alot of people are forgetting senna at monaco in 84, and suzuka in 88 or 89 i cant remember...also when people say that his car had electronic aids in the donington gp of 93 you have to remember that he was also using slick tyres, whereas everyone else had wets and the cars at the front all had electronic aids which put them essentially on an even playing field

  • @bradleyblackster man..did Senna really have slicks? I don´t know if it´s true but that would be awesome to know! still I´m not sure, it was too wet for slicks..

  • @bourlivak88 he did mate, he said so in the post race press conference at least

  • - The master of rain goes by another name, your name is SENNA. They want to talk about the difficulty of running with car without electronic help, remember the second race in F1 and Senna his first F1 victory. Among other races in the rain he gave a concert. ;)

  • Frankly speaking Villeneuve and Senna did have more swagger than schumi (in todays era Hamilton resembles that) but if you're gonna judge a driver by the stats you really have only one option.

Senna was great in rain and so too Schumi but imho fisichella staying put in that 2004 brazilian grand prix in a jordan while all bigwigs crashed out was a great scene.

  • fuck everyone commenting about senna, it's ridiculous how people can't get over the past and recognize the great drivers of today. no disrespect to senna though, just to the people constantly commenting about him.

  • @mikidof The reason people still talk about Senna today is because he was one of the all time greatest drivers in F1 history. senna is to F1 what Muhammed Ali is to Boxing, Pele to football, Shane Warne to cricket etc etc. That's why people still talk about him.

  • everyone conparing this to senna in 93 and saying chumi is better because of no driver aids... everyone had no aids so in the wet, car control shined through even more which means schumis emphatic win looks alot better than if it would of been with traction control ect.

  • @l0dgey Agree with that. Also, the debate between who was better between Schumi & Senna will rage on forever. 1 thing can not be disputed though. Nobody could touch either of them in the rain.

  • All Hamilton percetanges are BS. Wait for him to get a more few years on F1 and see all his stats drop. The fact he started in McLaren helped him a lot, all the good drivers in f1 have started with a crappy team, but not Hamilton.

  • @felipemuve It's not really fair to pass judgement based on the fact that Hamilton started at mcLaren. Also, what you're saying isn't strictly true. Jim Clark, another all time great, started at Lotus when they were at the height of their powers yet nobody levels the same criticism at him. Also, if we are discounting a sportsman's achievments because they started at a top team then does that mean the football careers of Giggs, Scholes, G.Neville & Beckham should also be overlooked

  • oh man, this one's in German. wish there would be English translation. but great vid, btw.

  • 5:54 looks like a speedboat race.

  • This is why i love F1. At indy, this would be a red flag condition.

  • I remember this race, it was an excellent drive by Schumi without question. To people claiming that Schumi is the "rain master" are incorrect, the real "rain master" is Senna - he won 60% of the wet races he competed in and Schumi 40%. Hamilton actually has a better wet record then Schumi now which drops him to 3rd place. Yes Schumi is a great wet weather driver, but not the best. BTW even Schumi himself claims Ayrton is the greatest.

  • @izybluffen Proof about Schumacher saying Ayrton's the greatest?

  • @F1TomM It's on the Top Gear tribute to Senna - It's at 2:38 but watch from 2:20 to see the other drivers have thier say........ You may as well watch the whole thing it's a good tribute.

  • @izybluffen Ok, seems strange that a person like Schumacher saying anything like that.

  • @F1TomM If the "statisical" greatest driver claims Senna is the "greatest" that has to count for a massive chunk. I got big respect for Schumi saying that.

  • @izybluffen Agreed, it should also be remembered how much of an impoact that Senna had upon Schumacher's career. Despite the fact that Schumi & Senna had their differences in 92&93 Schumacher's admiration of Senna is well documented and Schumacher's attention to detail with the car & fitness also owes a lot (although not 100%) to what he saw Senna doing at the time. There's a great book call Schumacher:The Edge of Greatness by James Allen that gives a great insight into this

  • @izybluffen schumacher stated when he was at his prime that he dosent want to be treated specially. he said in my opinion im just able to drive cars round a race track faster and better than everyone else. and i love it when all schumacher haters actually really respect his opinion when it comes to senna. and you can honestly get stuffed saying hamilton is a better driver in the wet. hes just got a higher ratio because he aint bin here as long.SCHUMSCHER IS THE BEST END OF!!!!!!!!!

  • A master in motion

  • One of his greatest highlights, like Ungarn 98 or Hockenheim Qualifying 2004

  • why did nobody tell Schumacher its raining?

  • sure, safety and everything but thats why i dont watch F1 anymore - its boring as hell nowadays

  • The good old days when f1 cars were allowed to race in the wet

  • haha der REGENGOTT!

  • everyone say senna is the best because he died at his best. the story could be different if michael die in 2004, everyone will praise that schumacher is the best

seems some people made rule like this --> "racer who died at his/her best is the best of all time"

and people doesnt take a look on struggling character like prost, mansell, and schumacher which they dont die on their golden era

  • Senna won in Donninton 93 in the rain with a car full of electronic aids, while Schumacher had not any electronic aid. Even Michael Andretti in that Mclaren overtook Schumi! That was a joke!!!

But in Barcelona 92 in the rain, both drove with no traction controls, and Senna could not be as fast as Schumacher and finally Senna crashed trying to catch Schumi. First victory of Schumacher, Spa 92, and there was rain, beating Mansell, Senna... everyone !

Schumacher is the greatest driver ever!!

  • @hunt2727 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Not even close.

  • @hunt2727 In 93 all the cars had electronic helps......... and for belgium 92 Senna made the wrong tire choice

  • @hunt2727 andretti crashed at first corner get your facts right.

  • @l0dgey 3rd corner*

  • @hunt2727 LOL Sure if your a moron and judge a drivers skill level based on one race alone.

  • @hunt2727 without any doubts....he is the best...maybe for eternity

  • 1) On route to his famous Donington win Senna mugged Schumacher and left him trailing in his wake despite the fact that Schumacher's Benneton was a superior car.

    2) The McLaren that Senna was driving was one of the worst cars McLaren have built in the last 25 years. To win in the manner that he did was world class.

    3) I can't believe a Schumi fan is making a point about driving aids after Schumi & Beneton's cheating throughout 94.

  • @chrismarkbicknell you my friend know nothing. proof is 1993 benneton were crap. senna had a better car but schumacher still beat him. more proof is 1992 spa. thats when senna started getting jelouse of schumacher and then when schumacher finally eclipsed him in 1994 he made up a stupid story that he had electronic aids because senna kept crashing but schumacher had perfect car controle. you and your other stupid senna fans make up crap to blacken schumis name. shumis the best

  • Just to correct you on a few points.

    1) in 93 the Benneton had a WORKS ford engine & the McLaren only had a customer Ford engine so no, Senna did not have the better car at all.

    2) Senna finished 2nd in the WDC to Schumacher's 4th (21 points ahead)

    3) Benneton were found guilty by the FIA of hiding electronic aids within their software.

    4) Senna was not "jealous" of Schumi. He simply recognised that he would be the next big thing.

However, you are right about Spa 92. He was superb that day.

  • @chrismarkbicknell I´d say Schumacher was very unlucky in 1993..he had many failures while being in the lead or in the top three..

  • @chrismarkbicknell- Said it all! kkkkkkkkkkk

  • @chrismarkbicknell nobody was cheating you dumbass..senna didn´t want to look ridiculously slow so he thought up this freakin story..lol

  • @bourlivak88 Wrong, Benneton were found gulty of having electronic aids within their software and fined heavily. Ross Brawn would later admit that the TCS & Launch Control could be activated by using a laptop. It turns out that Senna's hunch about the Benneton team was correct. This would later be confirmed by Schumacher's team mate Verstappen.. Also, I don't appreciate the childish insult in your opening remark.

  • @chrismarkbicknell no no no..and Verstappen is a cunty cunt..lol

  • @bourlivak88 That was it?? that was you response. Ok then, I'll let you get back to your ABBA videos!!!

  • @hunt2727 When the track's wet electronic aids are pretty much useless. However, I do agree that Schumacher was awesome in Spa 92. I think it's impossible to say who was the better wet weather driver between the 2. There is no doubt that they were both untouchable in the rain. Why do i prefer Senna to Schumacher? Senna's style. Pure & simple. Put it this way, which football team would you prefer to watch Barcelona or Real Madrid, Which boxer Rocky Marciano or Muhammed Ali???

  • @hunt2727 Excellent comment, We expect from Schumi this season to show only half of this piece of skills. SCHUMI & FANS for lifeeeee

  • proof that hill wouldn't have won anything if he wasn't in the superior car

  • @crouchysrobot Hungaroring 1997 and Spa 1998 disprove your sentiment.

  • and nowadays they stop the race when theres a little bit of a bad visibility..

the days of weak men i tell u

  • @rastamees

I totally agree with you. When I saw what happened In Canada this year I was honestly asking myself, "Why are they stopping the race?" It's a joke now

  • @jotakh Dude, again: I'm not comparing them. There is no such need and no point at all in this discussion. If you think Senna is way better, good for you then. Some think Schumacher is better. Good for them. I have no respect for crazy fans seeking for a SxS discussion. I'm a fan of racing, and when I turn on the TV I hope I can see a performance like this one here, or Donington 93, or Barrichello/Silverstone/03 and so it goes. If you care so much for this SxS discussion then you're not a F1 fan

  • TILL TODAY........SCHUMI STILL THE WET RACE MASTER(RAIN KING)......EVEN THE LATEST GRAND PRIX IN CANADA 2011......HE PROVED AGAIN EVEN HE NEVER WIN THE RACE.....BRAVO SCHUMI

  • this video starts PERFECTLY! :)

  • Even the Williams mechanics are enjoying this magnificent driving

of is michael nou zo snel hahahahahahahahahaahaaaa

  • People who say Schumacher isnt good are DUMB. Dumbest people. And always trying to compare with Senna. At Senna's time Schumi was awesome in a Benetton too.. Lets see what Hamilton or Alonso does when they gets as old as Schumi..... Tired of these stupid YT comments

  • @jotakh Lol you deleted your comment.. First of all who cares about you getting tireds about my comments.. i dont even know you fuck off.. And where did AI say Benettom????????? see my previous comment.. Get some glasses.. One thing Schumi fans know Senna fans are arrogant and not decent at all.. One thing they should learn from Schumi.. Always a gentleman.. Ayrton never was a gentleman but very agressive with his beahviousr everywhere..

  • @FERRARIAVI Agreed. Even though I am more of a Senna and Mansell fan I can never understand the people on here who dismiss 1 because they are a fan of the other. Schumacher is 1 of the greatest natural talents we have seen in the sport. However, even the most ardent Schumi fan can not get away from the fact that he will always have question marks against his sportsmanship.

  • Really love watching wet races like this back then. These days I have to pray they don't keep the safety car out too long each time it rains. Last year's Korean GP is a good example why, the safety car was out for way longer than it had to.

  • GRANDIOSO.

  • As Stirling Moss quoted, "this was not a race this was a demonstration of brilliance..."

  • someone tell him its raining..

  • I think everybody remember the praised Senna's driving in Donington 1993. But the performance shown in here is just as incredible (Although not as much mentioned). Schumacher humiliated everyone else in this GP. A true highlight in his career.

  • @rafamac +1 many forget he gave 2 second to the whole field by every laps.

and this performance was shown in most probably the worst ferrari in history.

  • @rafamac

Donington park 1993...Senna´s car had tractioncontrol (TS! )

some cars/teams didnt have it at all.

  • @hlidskjalf666 Sorry, but I guess you read some bad information. Williams Renault had the traction control and active suspension, Senna was struggling in an underpowered Mclaren.

  • @youmontanha

    you´re not sorry, I am....because you are a maniac!

the McLaren MP4/8 designed by Neil Oatley around advanced racecar technology, including a semi-automatic transmission, active suspension and traction control systems.

Williams/Renault ? Yea so, Michael drove Benetton xD. fail

And ffs check facts before even try reply next time. its all there (wiki)

  • @hlidskjalf666 I checked the facts in a website (Youtube doesn't let me put the link, farzadsf1gallery, look for Donington park 1993)

Then I saw your comment... and I replied it.

I don't write anything without knowing at least a bit, if this website is wrong... sorry. I didn't really saw the races.

Wiki just complied with the information I did read.

But that's not the point... thei are all good pilots :)

  • @hlidskjalf666 All 3 of those teams had the systems in place. However, in wet conditions their usefullness is massivly reduced.

  • @hlidskjalf666 I "guess" you are a troll, but as said, a lot of cars had TC in 1993, including Benneton and Williams. Besides, Williams had enormous superiority for the whole season. Either way, please understand I'm not comparing Senna and Schumacher. I just said this performance shown here is awesome.

  • @rafamac

    I´m more a troll-hunter!

*Check it up. In DoningtonPark not all cars had installed T-C !!!!

yes they had it in the SEASON 1993, but not in all RACES in 1993.

  • Comment removed

  • Schumi 96 ferrari look like a brick compared to JV's williams.but still...

  • Only 6 drivers finished the race. Schumacher, Alesi, Villeneuve, Frentzen, Hakkinen, Diniz.

  • THE MASTER!!!!!!! OF F1!!!!!!!

  • look on youtube (Ayrton Senna - Top Gear - Part 1 of 2)

Schumacher admits that Senna is the best.

Even the reporter who was not a fan of Senna at the end becomes a fan.

  • Gilles Villeneuve Is master in rain. Montreal 1981 with a broken wing arrived 3rd

  • danielaebi you say bullshit benetton was never better than williams NOOB

  • Saw this years back live on TV...If I remember properly, he annihilated all of them and finished with over a minute and a half after 2 or 3 pit-stops...epic driving

  • @whitesharkbr lay off the drugs, mate ;)

  • @mynkNX I think that Alonso sux two

  • Senna in donninton 93 was good with those traction controls...

but even a bad driver as Michael andretti in that Mclaren was very very fast, and he even overtook Schumacher in the wet!!! (before crashing so bad he was...)

wow! that traction controls that Senna had were very very good!!

But Senna in barcelona 92 without traction controls crashed trying to be as fast as Schumacher!!

wow! Schumacher is the best in history!

  • @hunt2727 aha what about monaco 1984, ever heard of Tolmann? no? lets say its like the modern equal of Hispania racing TEAM, hmmm 2nd at Monaco '84 Senna

and Lets Remember not active suspension or TC, Semi-auto gearbox,

just one big Turbo! giving lots of power in one big kick!!! just what you need in the rain. oh by the way who els was driving that day in 84 Prost Mansell Lauda Arnoux Rosberg Patrese Piquet.Wait that 4 World champs in that Year. how many in 1996?

  • @hunt2727 The Benetton from Schummel had more power traction control better handling just google Cosworth and you will see

  • Michael, Michael #1 driver in history of Formel eins, ya ya bitte!! I love Michael, he's a crazy genius like me!!

  • beautiful car. one of the most beautiful ones in my opinion.

  • Can somebody go and tell Michael that it is raining??

  • @Schumifreak9 Yeah indeed.. imagine if this would happen again... Schumi The Rain King returns!!!!

IF this would happen i'm 100% sure we'll see the old Schumi again :3

  • That is one good looking and sounding Ferrari

  • i9 miss the old mika hakkinen vs michael schumacher times ^^ real fights on the limit of theyre cars. hit the break as late as possible... and fuk fia with theyre new bullsh1t rules...

  • If this would happened this year, the Safety car would be on track asap.

  • It wasn't just that the Ferrari was slow (well, it wasn't SLOW, the engine still had some power in a straight line) it just handled poorly and yet Michael did amazing things with it. What is more impressive, in my mind, was his second place at Brazil where the revolutionary new titanium casing gearbox was replaced with the old rear-end of the 1995 car (originally designed for a V12) causing it to handle horribly. Pouring down rain and he managed second!

  • would this happen nowadays the reporters would go crazy

  • and to think the ferrari was a shit box awesome driving from schumy bet ya u will see alot of this in a mercedes lol go schumy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember this race. It was his first victory as Ferrari driver. The 96 car was pretty awful, yet on that day, Shumi´s fastest lap of the race was 4 seconds faster than anyone else. A magic day

  • There's so much Rain pouring down, But ur driving like it's dry.

  • schumacer might never had started on pole with senna but he still beat him even when senna had pole

  • @stevenmcg69 in season of 1993, Schumacher says at Silverstone:" The Benetton is better what Mclaren"...93= 5 wins for Senna. 1 for MS ( Senna retired because engine problems).

  • in 1994 ms beat senna in every race up till that very sad moment in imola this will always be a case off i say you say but sadly we will never no. the world was robbed off what would have been an epic battle between the 2 .

  • the McLaren was better but what do u expect Schumacher to say? He wouldnt say the MCLaren is better then Benetton.

  • @guigo00018

Crap. In Senna's 5 wins, 2 were inherited from misfortune of Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher. And Michael Schumacher should have won the monaco gp of 93. Also at the end of 1993 in the last 3 races he had the best car. Even shit Michael Andretti was doing well in it and so was Hakkinen. That puts Schumi at 2 wins to Senna's 3 wins but in Schumacher's only second year in Formula 1 with an unreliable car compared to Senna's 10 years of experience . OWNED.

  • @stevenmcg69 The thing is you can talk that talk all day but fact is schuey will always have the word cheat on his CV.

  • @lespaulicetea u meen the same way senna cheated all great drivers do what it takes

  • @stevenmcg69 In the beginning of 1994 MS was using illegal fuel. Moreover Senna had problems owing to the size of the cockpit, consequence of a wrong design (the problem the tried to solve at Imola 94 by cutting and welding the steering column). This is the reason why SENNA did not win the first 3 races in 1994. But if you consider that Hill was to be champion at the end of 1994, you clearly see that Senna would have beaten MS for sure

  • @mkhkknn but i do not count and if anything, only the facts matter, and Schumacher has scored 7

  • @MrFerraristadoc HONKY! WELL SAID!

  • @stevenmcg69, Unfortunately MSC who compares with Senna Senna should never have seen fly, I followed all the career of Ayrton Senna and can say that near Senna MSC was just a good driver, nothing more than this amount of bonds far from an accredit comparing these two great drivers, Senna is unsurpassed.

  • @sandrorhoads what are you on bout...

    1. FUCK off this is a Schumi video.

    2. Schumacher outraced Senna several times 1992,1994

(as a rookie with inferior car on top of that ! )

  • @hlidskjalf666 FUCK off this is a CRAP Schumi video !!!

Senna simply the best, i am sorry for you.

  • @sandrorhoads Michael is a GOD, shut up with Senna. 7 World Champion titels. In the time at 2000 he had clearly the inferior car. And he kicked them in her arses, so he is the best of all time. Remember Barichello and Irvine, they had the same car like Michael..... and where they are......... They were crap...!!!

  • @Eandeavour wake up....

  • @sandrorhoads so are you suggesting that it must have been jesus in that car instead of shumi. and im pretty sure simply the best was on shumis pit board when he won the 2003 world championship:P

  • @stevenmcg69

please do not compare Senna with Schumacher ..... 'm sorry ....

  • FERRARI WONS...THE PILOT COULD BE ANYONE....

  • @DarkEquilibrium81

    hi there pro

    * Ferrar wins 1991-1995 = the same amount of wins as 1996 when SCHUMACHER joined.

    * Ferrari last championship until the day schumi joined:

(Jody Scheckter in 1979). During those years the Ferrari was driven by some guys named, Prost, Mansell and G. Villeneuve....!"

  • @DarkEquilibrium81 could be anyone hmmmmm really were was his team mate again ? no where near him so ferrari win... plot was schumacer skill

  • piss off jealous cunts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Senna hin oder her.

KEEP IT REAL!

  • auhauhauh you're a fucking mojado.....how's the rio grande crossing?did your mother pay the coyotes doing bj"s?

  • Who is interested in pole? Senna took every pole and Prost won the championship. With all the rule changes pole was even less important. Without petrol Schumacher would have had much more poles. Tactics and how much fuel u took with u was more important.

  • @TheDRANALYSIS111 Thanks for your words....we are the third world.....however we are the best......third world wins of "first world".......in sports most populars like f1 and soccer.....brazil rullezzz...the best driver: senna....the best player: Pelé all this with pure talent.....and no investiments...no money...

  • You are not educated....respect this people who to rest....we discuting f1...but like Schumacher...you not respect all others...Drivers are peoples...Drivers not numbers....its f1 is only sport

  • hahaha.....Villeneuve is the good driver, but is ridiculous in rain tracks.....in períod recently of schumacher in f1....only Barrichello is good in rain conditions....but ferrari team orders....look german 2000 for exemple....all time Rubens with dry tires.....no possibility for team orders...

  • @GinderDeath: Its bullshit what you say my friend.... The Ferarri was a fucking shit at this year. Williams was much better. But at 96 there are no traction control on cars. The difference between "drivers" was much bigger in rain than today.

  • No TC since 2008

  • That is indeed correect, jfk87n! The Ferraris were technically inferior to the Newey-designed Williams of '96 and '97, and the only time that technical inferiority was visibly neutralized was under heavy rain conditions. Under limited-traction wet-track conditions, the lap times came down to the driving abilities of the F1 pilots. And under those conditions---especially without traction control--Michael Schumacher was in a class of HIS OWN, also better than the much overrated Senna.

  • it's funny to see how huge was the difference was between cars at this time. The difference was 4 seconds for each lap and it looked quite normal t the time, today when it's 0.5 we consider it a big difference xP

  • If Schuey was the Rainmaster what happened in Monaco the same year? :P

Apart from that great vid of a true F1 legend.

  • He is a Rainmaster, but he is also human, everyone makes mistakes and in that race in monaco he took a corner too tight and slipped away on the wet curb...simple as that...but if you remember the 1997 season, there he proved (in Monaco) that he was by far the best driver in the rain at that time.

  • nobody is perfect man, that's what make us humans. He made a mistake so what?

  • Simply the best!!!!

  • The Guy that talkes is Heiko Wasser

He's comin from my home town in Germany:Gladbeck =)

  • 2:02 lol.

  • villeneuve's a pussy in the wet.

  • The Ferrari at 97 was a fucking shit....

    Great Performance...

  • Even better performance if you recognize that this happened in 96

  • the best of all time

compare to his aggro pushing races at hungary 98, monaco 97 and brazil 06
