No, this is on a Nintendo 64 with Unix Operative System.

Of course is in a computer, and the game is cheap (at least, I bought it years ago for 20 Euros). The extra characters and extra scenario you can download are for free.

It is not a mod, anyway. It is only a map and characters models. Only that.

Really, it is not need to make a mod, in fact, this is not replacing the characters. This is ADDING the characters, and is so easy as copy the files of the models in a determined directory of the game. :D

How I hold the saber? Well, it is a katana. You can found in the same web saber models. Some characters wear they own weapons. For example, Link uses the Hylian Shield and the Master Sword and Chrono uses the "Rainbow" Katana.
