Seriously about the sight... it seems like it would get beat to hell mounted on the slide like that. And wouldn't the extra weight on the slide affect the action and balance, particularly when firing rapidly? Extra weight == extra inertia etc. Just seems like it would be better if the sight remained stationary. Makes me wonder if there's an option for mounting on the bottom rail with some kind of blades that come up around and over the slide on either side to hold a sight like this.
@charleslaine no it does not the energy the bullet puts on the slide is constant adding the iron sight would take away form inertia because it is more mass to accelerator and more friction on the slide i could get all geeky on you but i will leave it their and think about what i said before you comment back if you think i am wrong.
@GunWebsites Yeah, these kind of coments... where everyone is a critic of even the most inane aspect of whatever is being shown... sort of makes it not worth posting anything to YouTube. The last couple of days I've been checking out various vids of gun-related gear, and it seems that guns tend to bring out the asshole in people. It's laughable how everyone is an 'expert'. I've even seen comments where one person calls another person a 'poser'. When it comes to guns, what does that even mean?
@nosgulcivic Seriously when your are at a gun event, you get giddy with glee from all the new items, and your form goes to shit. Everyone does that, your not better than anyone
Pretty broad statement don't you think? How could you possibly "know" that I'm no better than anyone... I already said that I wasn't trying to flame anyone. I'm just realistic when it comes to marksmanship. No need to defend anyone if there is no attack.
I'd consider this if I ever got into IPDA or IPSC, too bad I don't do that kind of thing yet. Toys dont make a good shooter, the shooter makes the shooter.
lol@ :07 That hot shell rolled right in your sleve. I hate it when they bounce off a post and land on the bridge of your shooting glasses. Nice optic!

@charleslaine The sight and base add a little over 3 ounces I think and aimpoints are very rugged.

How does that mount? I'm amazed it can withstand the back and forward forces without flying off.

OK no problem then

Someone likes to jerk their trigger... take out the slack first. Come on now. That $700 sight won't help a bit until you nail your basics.
