Is putting money into driver behaviour under the Safety component really that good in the long term? It seems that taking humans out of the equations will ultimately be the answer. Human behaviour will always make accidents, whereas computer based driving will always out perform human driving, and I think might benefit us if we could focus the safety expenditure toward that more in the long term. I'm not saying we will all be in driverless cars in the future, but maybe on highways...?
