Dumoine River 09 Little Steel Falls Class III rapids in a canoe

At first I was gonna ask if I would need to take a lesson for class III rapids but uh, now I think I'll need to take one because I've only paddled class I, & II.

Taken with a Olympus Stylus 1030 SW mounted to to an ~1ft tripod which was duct taped to the stern.

haha awesome. yeah like everyone is saying, you have to kneel down in the canoe. otherwise you make it too top heavy & even a minor bump will tip it & let water in. do that about 10 times & you've got a swamped boat. plus 3 grown males + canoe + rapids = bad idea. looks like yall had a good time though & thats what really matters.

That's hilarious! You friggin sunk! I imagine you've learned that sitting up like that, side switching and having three people in the boat wasn't a good idea, but at least it was fun.

you didnt just take on too much water you guys had no clue what you were doing, you gotta kneel in the canoe, grabbing the gunnel's is the worst idea and it ditn look like any one knows the proper canoe strokes
