Hi patrick, how did it end up performing? did you sort out the over heating issues you were having? One of my favo builds.

It's not overheating as such, but it is running hotter than we would like - meaning that we're only running full power for short periods at the moment. An uprated cooling system is being developed, but must also be integrated into the planned aerodynamics.

Sounds like a 3SGTE of some sort. I can't be positive but thats what it sounds like to me. I know some people drop 3SGTE engines into the MK3 chassis. It seems to perform amazingly well, what ever it is.

It's a turbocharged 2ZZ-GE. At present, all engine internals are standard and we think we're pushing them as hard as we can at 10psi without risking reliability. Longer term plans include a fully built engine with forged internals and pushing the GT28RS turbo up to around 30psi.
