  • Hey fish fuck off.

  • Guy's a maestro, impossible to remain straightfaced, really, it's all so disarmingly effortless, ,talk about stream of consciousness. Up there with Carlin, less intense,Hicks,so subtler and me favourite,Fry,so in control of the maelstrom, lastly, Cleese, the One Ring that rules Them All and in the Darkness binds Them...Aheem, Wrong detour, awfully sorry,

  • haha this guy is hilarious. and he raises some interesting points which not enough comedians do these days.

  • became arboreal primates later descended and learned to walk upright in order to carry food/tools/young… and of course these proto humans eventually became our recent ancestors, and us.

May not seem intuitive, but that’s how the shit went down.

  • @volound Now we're learning to sit down for several days at a time in order to watch 60 inch 3DTV.

  • which became early invertebrates which branched into vertebrates ; some of which became fish, then amphibians, and one of which is famously the first to crawl onto dry land where amphibians branched off into reptiles which branched into both birds and mammals, some of which survived the extinction event that killed the dinosaurs

  • @volound Wow you're so smart!

  • @pisstaker247 i know. thanks for the reassurance.

  • chemicals that naturally form molecular bonds, and in our case, autocatalytic feedback loops i.e. simple replicators which proceeded to fill the oceans of early earth.. eventually increasing in sophistication, forming lipid membranes around bubbles which protect the RNA and eventually the DNA core of early single celled organisms, which evolved the capacity to live in colonies, becoming simple multi-cellular organisms like sponges, which became intermediates like polyps

  • Atheism: The understanding that at the point in space-time that the singularity occurred, quantum potential settles into sets of virtual particle/ anti-particle pairs due to vacuum fluctuations occasionally producing a non-zero value ,after which the gases condensed into stars due to gravity then form heavier than hydrogen elements due to nucleosynthesis within the stars cores which are then dispersed in supernovae when the star dies to form new stars and planets which contain

  • @volound

Do you honestly expect anybody to care. it's not like Dylan Moran's actually gonna read it.

  • @johnson1095 "Do you honestly expect anybody to care."

yes. thats how it was figured out, people cared.

"it's not like Dylan Moran's actually gonna read it."

luckily, i knew when i posted that, that dylan moran isnt the only person capable of reading.

  • A genius of words!!

How could that one person not like this??!

  • Now I want to trade in my Mazda for a Fucking Toyota Hiroshima.

  • I now want my computer to go "Lwyaah! What?" with Dylan's voice when I turn it on. If anyone has that sound captured, message me!!

Other highlights: "He's so crooked he SLEEPS ON A SPIRAL STAIRCASE!" (I laughed until I cried when he said that--I had to pause to movie until I was finished laughing so I could hear the rest) and "AH! It was FIERCE mild!!"

  • @lijluvr356 Seriously, I bruised a lung laughing at the "Lwyah what" part XD

  • @sferb it must be painful to breathe. I hope you recover with no adverse effects, but I agree Dylan's worth it.

  • fleur de fleur hahaha

  • @ILIPU he's exactly right. Now they're all named things like "Murder," "Homicide," and "Chilblains."

  • "NO, YOU DO IT! YOU ARE SUPER JESUS!!!!" As an american, I must say that sentence is as true as it is Hilarious!

  • Sane.. or not lonely

  • That actually isn't something you should laugh at...

  • Actually, evolution doesn't say we came from monkeys, but rather descended from a common mammalian ancestor. But the "exoskeletoned bitches sneering at you" observation is pretty accurate.

  • I think he makes a good joke of it when he explains his relationship to computers. I mean he's not saying "science doesn't work", but more "we humans don't trust science to be more than a tool"..

So that's his joke on evolution: its complicated for people to understand and it doesn't seem to fulfill the basic human need (the "story" factor).

But you're of course perfectly right - evolution doesn't say we cam from modern monkeys.

Just: don't have to argue with guys on OUR side =)

  • Not arguing, just pointing out a fact. Jeez, it's like everyone on the internet assume everyone else is trying to antagonize them. But Moran does in fact go on to say "so science doesn't work", same for consumerism and religion. I thought it was to play on his misanthropic drunken persona, but I find he's much more human in this particular show, since he's smiling a bit more. Also- people use evolution to fill a spiritual need? Huh? And here I thought it was just a random idea. Anyway, thanks.

  • He he.. well sorry. I was really just thinking aloud. It's funny the way whatever the kind of youtube comment one types (short, funny, hateful, cheerful, rude, philosophical), it's always gonna annoy someone.

    Cheers.

    =8)-DX

  • Oh, no harm done. I just like how you seem to be one of the educated, polite people using youtube. Best wishes to you too.
