  • Long time no talk man, just checking in to see how the truck is doing? how many miles now and any issues/complaints that you have had? what kinda mpg are you averaging?

  • Cool... I got an 09 fully loaded I'm 17.....these trucks get boring after the first 2 months. I got the white diamond, cost a grand more but it's worth it.

  • I will get one when I am 16 or 17

  • LMAO This guy was more interested in the side steps than this whole damn escalade! lol :)

  • Black cars are the best.

  • @ifuseekamy Except when it comes to having to keep them clean! haha But ya, I agree, Black all the way... Although I'm thinking in the future I might have to get the White EXT... But I'll be keeping this one.

  • Got an 07, its got its quirks, such as piston slap on startup. Dealer says its the "nature of the engine". Won't be buying another.

  • DAMM you must be banking it!!! i Give yu PROPS MAN!! what do yu do for a living?

  • @eddiechairez Thanks bud, I'm just a simple computer geek...

  • @Zhariak niceeee!!!!! dudeee

  • please do a video walkthrough of it

  • thats pretty nice man, good job

  • Thanks bud!

  • no way... did you get the premium package on this thing? chrome wheels moon/sunroof, navigation and sound system?

  • Got everything!

  • geez man thats incredible

  • 4 sure escalade is the most luxurious suv

  • Comment removed

  • not in luxury. range rover is small and cramped. range rover is cheaper than escalade

You could'nt have purchased a better Car

  • just saying but the range rover hse MSRP is $79,275 the cadillac escalade MSRP is $62,495 ( i do like them both ) but for the MSRP

  • u mad..range rover sport super charged V8 shits on dat check it out

  • Beautiful! I'm 19 and I have a '07 Escalade white diamond fully loaded with stock DVD headrests. Best truck IMO!

  • what exactly made u wanna buy the ESV steve? i drove one and it felt like driving a bus. the Best escalades are the trucks

  • Grew up riding around in a suburban.. Always liked big vehicles. Need something that I could load up with a bunch of equipment too (for work)... If the ESV didn't exist, I woulda gotten a Denali XL or even a Suburban :) But I'm super happy I chose this one :)

  • i asked because the back window looked a bit open

  • y did you need such a big truck and is your back window open

  • Nope, all the windows are closed... Why do you ask?

I need it because I haul alot of stuff around, and I need it sheltered from the environment...

And when I'm not working, I'm a hardcore camper, mountian bike rider, road-tripper, etc...

I used to own a Ford Explorer and even with the seats out of it, it wasn't big enough sometimes for work, and camping.

  • I can't find that damn song. Does anyone know the exact name of it?

  • Kerry Chandler is the artist...

I can't remember the name of the song, its either "The Drive" or "The Decks" or "The Beats"... Or it's called something else, but it IS Kerry Chandler

  • Yeah, I know thats Kerry Chandler. I've searched all youtube, beatport and many more, but haven't find that damn song. I like that melody, that beat kicks really good :) But who on earth knows the exact title of this track? lol

  • hows the escalade running, its been a year now, any problems, issues, quirks or things you dont like??

nice truck btw, well worth it stunna!

  • All in all, she's driving fine... To my surprise the only issue's Ive had that havn't been caused by service departments (issues that shipped with the truck), are the emblems disintegrated on the rims and on the back of the vehicle... And I had issues with my passenger mirror. Other than that she's slick! This is for sure a purchase that was worth it... If you ever pick one up, just make sure you do some investigation into the service dealership you take it too, some are better than others.

  • oh i know that for sure, im in the US, in wisconsin.

i would like the normal shorty escalade, just like your black on black with the stock 22s.

im glad you had no issues, that shows the quality workmanship and reliability with Cadillac now a days.

im 24 and right now my eyes are bigger then my pocketbook on the escalade, i currently have a 2003 oldsmobile aurora.

hows the gas in it? how does it do when you drive it normal without heavy throttle?

hows the ride? is it like a spa on wheels lol?

  • The one thing I was choked about, is when I baught this the Canadian Dollar was at par with the US dollar. For the price I paid for the Canadian vehicle, I could have saved money AND gotten the platinum edition for cheaper, unfortunately all the US dealerships hung up on me when I called to buy it...

Gas is gas, It has a big engine... In one year I've put 50,000KM on it (for work) and I think my expenses for gas came out to 14,000 bucks for last year. Heavy/Cruising I haven't paid attention to.

  • every now and then they get some issues. it sad to say cuz this is one of few gm's i like.

  • no mommy and daddy gave you theirs

  • Is this to me?

If so, they didn't... I bought this 100% by myself.

  • no it was to akerswi sorry

  • Fuck you zhrooms and Cargo1273. He is my friend and bought it all one his own. Get some education and maybe you can too.........

  • some people are lucky and born with rich parents..

  • ...And Small Penises. Which is what ACTUALLY counts.

  • i have tht car too haha,,, but I'm 16

    lol

  • Yeah dude it sucks I heard that GM cancelled the 2011 Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade replacements. Well, theres always the Navigator.

  • I recently read the same thing. If it's true, it's a good thing because you can buy one and not worry about being in the old generation model when the new one rolls out. It'll be a classic like the Acura Legend or Infiniti QX4.

  • Umm, sorry guys. You are partially mistaken. Since the Escalade and Suburban names have so much "equity" in them for their brands, they will indeed have replacements. The same cannot be said for the Yukon and Tahoe though (unfortunately).

***It was recently rumored that the next Escalade may go to the Lambda platform (an idea that I hate btw).

  • the tahoe/yukon/escalade replacements either way would be on the next generation silverado/sierra chassis, which will get replacements, so dont fret

those SUV's are still massively profitable per each one sold, compared to a lambda suv, and it doesn't that long to develop because it'll be on the next gen truck chassis

i definatley see the tahoe/yukon/escalade replacements in 2012 at the earliest, but it'll probably end up coming somewhere between 2013-2015 with the silverado replacement

  • I don't think so. . . all they know is that the Escalade will be a crossover.

  • What's the name of that song????????? Please tell me if you know!

  • I could be wrong! But I think its:

    Kerri Chandler - The Drives

    or

Kerri Chandler - The Tapes (in europe he spelled it tapas)

spelling could be wrong, but its one of those.

  • What made you go for the ESV? Why not the regular Escalade?

  • Always been a fan of Suburban style vehicles since I was a young kid when my dad had a suburban. Also, its about who has the much mobile real-estate on the road :P haha joking.

I actually got the bigger one because I do alot of camping. And sometimes for work I have to move alot of equipment around.

  • As they say, bigger is better.

  • I love the power running boards on my Escalade. I have the ESV as well, it's a bit hard to park.

  • No kidden eh...

Because of those running boards, I had to wait months and months just because they didn't have any new ones Fully loaded with the steps in western canada. Originally baught it for myself for my 20th birthday, but didn't end up getting it until 4 months later.

  • I was lucky everyone on the lot had power running boards. I bought the same color but tan leather.

  • They don't have too many with the retractable steps here in Canada mainly because of the weather (If ice builds up, they break if you don't turn them off), and also because of the fact I think its a 2000 dollar option (When I baught it, the fully loaded escalade was 30,000 dollars more in Canada than the US when our US to CAD daller was equal)

  • kind of like the navigator copied the escalade with power liftgate and chrome exterior bits...

  • My Dad Bought that car i was sooo frekin happy when he bought it home~!

  • Do you have to have a $100k salaray to afford that?

  • Our 2008 Escalade has Power retractable steps! They're pretty nice!

  • He probally leased it or he is a rich ass!

  • I Want One badly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Could you have bought a 2007 year model with no miles on it to save alittle money? I dont think theres a big difrence with the 07 and 08

  • They are the same vehicle, with minor differences on the PCM firmware, along with some differences in the trim on the outside of the vehicle.

I didn't want to buy used, especially on a vehicle worth that much.

  • Check the resale value in about 2yrs. Ouch.

  • very beutiful truck. I remember a honda pilot commercial comparing there pilot to the caddy esv. I can say this is 2 times better than any honda

  • I love the music!!!

  • Kerri Chandler - The Tapas

  • With good credit anyone can get that thing, no big deal people. If you can put 2-3k dollars down you can finance for 400 dollars a month. That is my phone bill every month. But anyways nice car if you can afford gas and at this guyz young age his insurnace must be crazy high.

  • Actually I think your referring to a lease.

I actually had to finanace this thing cuz of the km I'm going to be putting on it. I drive around lots for work and stuff..

I put 10K down, and the payments are around 1,500 a month... The MSRP of the vehicle is $96,455... Keep in mind this is Canadian pricing, we get effin jipped.

Gas is a bitch, its retarded. And insurance isn't actually too bad.. I have ultimate insurance covering EVERYTHING. 2 million liability too. 2400 a year

  • HOLY SHIT! 1500 a month! wooooo, thats alot of money per month! Lol.

  • moolie truck. perfect example of marketing at it's best. no different than a suburban...just costs more with more shit added for perceived value.

  • wrong, it's a much nicer truck inside and out. It also has a more powerful engine 6.2L vs 5.3L in the Suburbs/Tahoe/Avalance, hydraulic engine mounts, different center console, seats, better sound dampening...

  • still a overpriced truck.

  • still more then you can afford too!

  • Hah! If you call a SL500 cheap. This car costs more than what your family makes in a year at Burger King.

  • lmao, instead of having a cigarette, you should've celebrated with a Cuban cigar ;)

  • escalade is nicer than ur jeep shit

  • Yo, a vehicle is a vehicle man...

The only reason why I baught this is because its the only thing I would personally drive, had nothing todo with the pricetag, or the fact people use them in rap videos...

I got the ESV cuz its the ESV, personally i think the other ones are ugly...

Just like how YoOiTzJaY got a jeep, he got it cuz he wanted it...

Lets be happy here :) hahaha

  • how did you afford it?

  • I stole it!!!!! lol

  • lol, but i would seriously like to know.

  • oh yah, have fun paying for gas :), don;t worry my dad does it too, he has the EXT

  • boy,you guys really crush me when you throw in the "rap videos crap".i've seen several Lincoln Navigators, and RR's in rap videos as well.give it a rest with the "rap video" mess.the truck is sweet.i guess you'll be getting your own gas station to drive it,now that gas is a penny away from $4.00 a gallon

  • Thats a nice car and the dude is 21 years old good good but yo im 19 and i got the jeep grand cherokee srt8 2008 fully load just had to get that out of my chest lol

  • how u afford that?

  • Actually those wheels are the 22inch Cadillac wheels that came with the vehicle (its an option).

  • Damn I wish I had a good job that's the first thing I'd buy, same color same wheels.

  • lol thnx for viewing guys...

I started up a little IT Consulting Firm/Service Provider business back when I was 19.

  • Lucky guy. What job do you have?

  • yo wut does your brother do for a living, im 18 and plan on having a brand new escalade when i am 21 years old too lol
