Your go daddy site has took down your your page. is there any other way to get list of parts needed and instructions step by step to hook up to your house? Did a good job on part 1 and 2 we need you to make a few more video for the Unimaginable. thanks
@kyles974 errmmmm you can use a hammer this way lol ... in fact if he used it the "correct" way the head of the hamer would go through the hole of the tool.
4:09, actually, the boards are at a 90 degree angle, not 45...and you could have made it easier to join them by using a different version of the same bracket you used at the first stage of building the frame (video 1)...or a 20 cent L-bracket.
@c9ari Aluminum is a good thermal conductor, almost as good as copper. The pop cans you can usually get free from a recycling bin or your alcoholic friends, where as covering that large area with copper pipe would run Bill Gates out of money.
Good work..but..These units get extremely hot inside. heat resistant silicon/caulk etc is fital or it will crack. The wood has to be heat protected too due or it too will warp (especially the sides, they look kinda thin). Perspex must be rated to or it too will warp (the shadow you see on the perspex of the first picture of my latest video is the warping of the perspex, this is even with concaving the perspex).
using a can opener will make many holes in the sides of your cans and allow moisture to enter the inside of the unit causing fog and mold and dust. you guys need to do some more research before you sell this to anyone. your customers won't like it if they have to tear their unit apart within a season to clean sand and repaint the inside of ther heater. but keep up.
you can cut the bottoms out just as easy with that can opener, also if coke cans give you trouble try cranking backwards on the opener.now we just cut the bottoms off with scissers and slide can onto next can with out caulk.
absolutely fabulous, thank you , people like you are helping the most!

Dumb question... What do the pop cans give you over a copper pipe?
