I hope so much, that they don't make this based on games and music and useless programs, I want this for school and will be so angry if they just dump a bunch of useless applications and not focus on functions like an iWork or Microsoft Office and a writing or speech to text software.

It's not suppose to be a toy for people, it's suppose to be a business and learning tool for college and entrepreneurs.

All of this speculation is based on rumours! Apple haven't said anything. What happens if at the end of the month, they announce something completely unrelated, like a new home media player?

I just don't see any reason why Apple would make a tablet PC, especially when they have the iPhone and iTouch. Tablet PCs just don't work very well - PC makers have been trying to make them work for years (remember Origami?).
