@MrBaebel I actually found this to be the most exciting, expertly edited and humorously narrated documentary on north korea I've seen thus far. There's a variety of media he uses and lots of excellent footage. Most documentaries are just boring factual talking... this dude is clever and comical. I watched the entire series and enjoyed it thoroughly. Excellent work monkeetime!

@BOBFRESTUFF North Korea is all about 'image'. Big fancy buildings are often vacant... as are the big fancy roads. Only 'chosen ones' are allowed cars, provided by the government. Lots of big fancy stuff but no people to use it.

westerners praise countries where there are lots of poor and desperate people but the leaders are western puppets. they sound so jealous because they are not controlling North Korea. were Libyans starving too? why were they being bombed? poor people in America join army to pay for college. north Korea doesn't have millions of homeless and unemployed like united states. 1 in 8 Americans go to bed hungry. then, who are we to blame north Koreans? is it to cover up our own crimes all over the world?

@pabnaful north korea doesn't have millions of homeless and starving? Yes. It does... and if not, it's because they all died already, so now there's a lil less than a million. Americans go to bed hungry because the 3 meals they ate that day and the constant snacking just wasn't enough. lol. But in all seriousness, all countries have starving and homeless people, but they are starving and homeless, USUALLY due to their own personal decisions. In N.Korea, it's due to the govt.

@TaciturnEternity this is a lie. the so called American dream is a bait for making us brown people slaves. there is no way to get out of poverty in America. my rent keeps going up, food becomes expensive but the wages are stagnant. this is why people end up working 3 odd jobs to pay for bare minimum. there is no such thing as happiness for working people in America. how can we even get out? people don't even save enough money to pay for a plane fare let alone some money for starting a new life.

But I'm happy and I'm free... and I've started an internship because in america, I know I can move up and make more money if I work hard, because that's how it works here. And that's what I'm doin.

@TaciturnEternity this is the true slave camp where people have no choice but to be a slave to feed their stomach and in order to not be on the street and beg. workers are exploited and robbed off their dues for making bigger profits for few individuals. the veterans who die for making billions for arms industry is an example. you have people working in wall mart for minimum wage can't meet their basic needs. plenty of women are forced to work as prostitutes since they have no other way.
