I've been rather wary and unsure of using Copic markers for a while now, but this video really makes me want to try them out. The effect you're getting with them is gorgeous! (Although I'll also need a lot more practice to create something as good as that picture, I think... XD)

@keylayla oozak is the cheapest place to buy them, a 72 set would be around 320 dollars, for the Sketch markers.

@vampivampire I prefer the Sketch. They hold more ink and can be used with the ABS, which I use often, thats the main reason I like the Sketch. :)

@VladimirLemLem I've been drawing on my own for 12 years. I took a few art classes in middle and high school. I'm a student at the Art Institute of Portland now, studying Media Arts and Animation. But most everything I know I taught myself. I don't consider drawing a 'talent' per se, anyone can learn to draw if they put in the time and effort. I've had to work of years and years to be able to draw how I want to... and I still am not to where I want to be. :)

Quick question for you, since you're experienced in creating these videos - am planning on doing one myself, since some people asked how I created a particular realistic brick texture with the Copics, and am unsure how to proceed. What sort of camera did you use, and what editing software?

@altrego100 I use a Sony Cybershot digital camera and Windows Movie Maker. These types of videos are very simple to make and don't need any advanced software or filming equipment. :)

@MrDrawme71 Oh yes, definitely better to buy online. They're cheaper online than in a regular store, plus they'll be brand new, no worries about people testing them out and wasting ink before you buy them. :)

@HelloKittyOtaku I'll usually use the joints as a guide for section coloring, that tends to be when a majority of the shading will fall anyway. When there are no joints... I just sort of wing it. :D

@espy159 I wouldn't do a Livestream for it because not everyone would be able to see it. I've been getting requests to do a real-time video for a very long time, so I want to make sure that everyone will have access to it. Plus, it doesn't ever take my videos long to upload... no more than 5 minutes usually. I might do one someday, but for now I would actually like to post it to my channel. And for her hair I used Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28 and E44. :)
