I recently caused a delay in the sending of one of my clients newsletters that I manage. It was a short delay, yet a promise is a promise, and the reason I went into business for myself is due to my high standards and integrity. So I apologized, (I say it is better to admit your wrong when you are) and gave him a discount on his bill. In the end he told me I shouldn’t have worried so much since he is very happy with me, yet I still felt better knowing I did what I could to make up for it.

I'm delaying promises... even though I'm going to get them done, I've been giving some of my clients the run around.
