  • soooo beautiful 'O'

  • I'm doing this to my white walls wooo! Awesome idea !!!!!!!

  • amys taste is flawless!

  • That is really cool! How many times can you reuse a single piece of lace before it gets clogged up with paint?

  • But this project has nothing to do with graffiti at all! Do people still think graffiti means using spray paint?

  • this is lovely and striking easy...

  • what ink to use please that is permanent..thanks

  • thats SUPAH COOL.. but im wondering whats the name brand of the spray paint you used??? i try my fabric paint it SUcKED.. it turned out faded color.. i kinda like the bold strong color like yours..

    thanks...

  • I noticed on the vid that the spray painted lace patter was used on a shirt....does this mean you can wash it and it won't just wash out?

  • Comment removed

  • I love it . It is a HTTT for me. (Have to try this! )

  • what about fade and can you put it in the washing machine?

  • doesnt spray paint bleed? and fade

  • very nice! would you know where i can get ROSE lace pattern???,I tried hobby lobby, hanncock fabrics and they have one,but it's NOT the one i'm looking for...so please if you can help me find different lace rose patterns..Thank You!

  • @bigrobhd Try cheap lace curtains. My mom had some in storage from FOREVER ago that have a cool rose pattern. Try goodwill for some cheap lace curtains.

  • LOVE it <3

  • I LOVE this idea! I always find old lace in thrift stores and never had any ideas on what to do with them, but this video might just make me buy them up! =)

  • what kind of spray paint was used again?:)

  • gay

  • Very cute!

  • Wow really nice i found that very inspirational, I'm so going to follow that. thanks!

  • I love these videos!

This might sound akward, but is there any ways i can put stuff on my wall without a nail and hammer? that would be nice!

    -Thnx =)

  • Have you tried glue tac...?

  • that totally blew my mind, amazing!

  • i loved this segment so much, i used the technique to start building my studio space. i am a jewelry maker and bought some cabinets for my first studio. using the techniques presented, i cleaned old factory steel cabinets, sanded them, primed them , painted one robin egg blue and the other fluorescent green. for the lacy layers, i painted the green cab with pink paint and the blue cab with white paint. i have tagger's blisters on my spray painting fingers..IT WAS WORTH IT COMPLETELY, they rock.

  • NEW QUESTION! can the lace that was spray-painted (which by the way came out well) can be used again...it gets hard and I want to know if it's alright to wash it? Thank you!

  • I need some help, the type of lace I bought ended up making a blotch on the fabric, what type of lace should I get?

  • Try Getting The

    Cheap plastic Stuff

    So That It Lays Totally

    Flat On Your Fabric :)

And Dont Do One Heavy Coat,

Maybe You Just Put Too Much

Spray Paint On It, And It Soaked

    Throughout Your Fabric, Try Doing

    2 Even Coats Instead

  • LOL, sweet. Love the shirt!

  • mmmh?

this is not so help full to graffii makers.

and u dont need to use spray cans to make this. just use normal paint .

  • Normal paint can crack on some fabrics, tho

  • OMG, That's amazing!

  • Kooooooo

  • OMg I love you people....

  • awesome,pretty...It was great to see you all at the SF Renegade Fair this past weekend.

  • that is so pretty

i have a question don't take this the wrong way but does the spray paint cause pollution please comment back way

i am just asking b/c i am not sure thank u

  • I'm glad you asked. I did some research before making this one. I've been dying to try this but didn't want to encourage something that is bad for the environment, as a green, earth-lovin' lady. From what I found, it's certainly not good for the air, but it's not half as bad as I thought. To make it less harmful, spray-paint outdoors, but o it in a large cardboard box to cut down on the fumes released. Counteract by using 100% recycled materials and plant a tree after the project:) xo, meg

  • thank you for begging so respectful to what i have to say and that is so sweet you took the time to research i wish everyone one the plant had a peace loving mind as yours thanks 4 all the videos most of them helped me with my school's fashion show and we raised $1,000.00 for the invisible children also $500.00 went to the wining designer which wasn't me but hey it went to a good cause

thank you so much for your time

    always, Sharmin

  • I think that's incredibly tacky, however it may make for an interesting gift someday.

  • Wow! I have to say when I showed my mother the profile for ThreadBanger and she decided to look at this one, her jaw dropped and the only phrase out of her mouth was, "I HAVE to try that!"

And so- we are at this moment about to head out for groceries- and a massive thing of lace so she can fix up her kitchen chairs.

    Much love to you guys!

    <3 -Casrianda

  • lol

    thats so cool

my mom would nvr do that

  • Casrianda, you have the coolest mom! please send us pics of what your killer mother & daughter team come up with. And tell your mom I say she rocks!

    xo, Meg

  • HTF can u call this graffiti ?

This is just a pattern on somethings.

  • Watch the beginning skit and you'll get it.

    -Meg

  • Sorry my mistake,skipped it.

  • Janewutang, we don't use such hurtful words here.

    -Meg

  • Actually, they are quite creative and inspired and make a hot living off of this. So I think they're doing alright.

  • Right now i read you reply, and i real think you are just bored in your life!

Why are you even replying to me?!

I said what i think, its a right of speech!

  • Alright, thank you :]

  • i love that lace trick. I've been doing that for a while now. amy's place is sooooo inspiring!

  • QUESTION: What kind of spray paint do they use on fabric?

  • any

  • you can use any type of spray paint cus it wont dry out but you can also get arosol (that is spelled wrong.) fabric paint at a craft store. I work at the one that is a guys name and they sell it with the fabric paint but the comps should have it too.

  • I love all the creative stuff you do on your shows, that fabric is so pretty. :)

I'm moving house soon and want the style to be sleek and modern but at the same time I can't afford to spend much money and want to express my personality too.

    Any ideas?

  • Can you make more videos each week, instead of just one?

  • they have 2 a week: on tuesdays and fridays.

    but i agree--MORE THREADBANGER!!!

  • Threadbanger is great, but this show is awesome as well. It's a different kind of show so be open minded!

  • thanks so much! xo, meg

  • Gorgeous, I have a few pre-made shirts with lace patterns. =) None made with spray-paint, though. Is spray-paint color-fast? I wouldn't want it running when I was any clothing with it on it.

  • maybe you could also use paper doilies if you don't want to waste lace? just a thought.

  • This would be a really kewl way to paint a wall!

  • omg I'm so gonna do that!
