  • GODLY!!!

  • Down range please...down range.

  • Good! This is the real deal!

  • Bitchin' gun... Anyone happen to know if you can mount a scope on the top (something like an ACOG or a SUSAT)? Just some crazy idea I had.

  • you can find a fotograph on internet of a tompson with a scope. but its kinde useles because its effective range is about 50-100 meters and you dont have picatinyrails on it. i own a m1928 tompson smg (airsoft) and its an exact copy but you cant mount anything on i. great gun and my favorite:)

  • this isnt airsoft you dont just say oww if you get hit with it. .45 acp because shooting twice is silly . 9mm for thoes who squat when they pee.

  • and you point is? i know this isn't airsoft and yes 9mm is a girls round :p

  • you cant compare a airsoft gun to a real gun in any circumstance, there is ways to mouns a sight on a m1a1 any ways

  • yeah i know the point but i meant for military use it doens't need sights because of the range it fires. and ofcourse airsoft is diffrent then the real stuff but its the same model thats what i meant:)

    greetz

  • This vid made me sOOoOoOo wet LOL o

  • yeah...fuck those airsoft toys...this is the real deal !!!!!!!

  • LOL a few year ago i met a guy that buy 100 thompson before the war (he was going to make a business with a mexican militia, but he didn't), so my father know this guy and before he died he took my father, me and 4 more pals to a hidden depot and WOW 100 Thompson M1A1 with 50 Drum Mags with 30 garands and 5 BAR's were hidden there! a real gold chest!, he tell us to give this guns to sell this guns to people who can take care of this guns!, we kept with 1 Garand and 1 BAR, the rest were solded

  • great story exsterenpro. i love hearing stories like that.

  • yeah its amazing, unfortunetly, i cant post a video of the warehouse or my guns because mmm... well... are ilegal, we donate some guns to museums as "anonimous donation". but theay are really great!

  • and you slelled al the tompsons? you should atleast kept one:o

  • yeah i love the thompson but my father don't, i try to hide 1 but he found it and gift it away :( but the garand and BAR are great and they still working

  • kickass gun

  • 0.o i have beeing shooting as a sport for 6 years..and i can say that this guy has absolutely no idea how to shoot a weapon

  • es falsa, de fogeo adaptada

  • Actually, I don't think they allowed troops to bring back weapons after WWll. My grandfather fought in WWll, and he said that before they were shipped out, they were to hand over all gear/weapons they had or have a damn good excuse as to why the stuff was missing. Most of the full automatic Thompsons that managed to get into America after that were probably smuggled in by some of the more daring troops.

  • Yea i was forgetting about the recoil. Oh but it became obsilete in jungle warefare against japan.

  • Yea if only i had enough pennies.

  • the thompson kicks serious ass, and it has a surprisingly low recoil. In which this case the m1 thompson still has the upper hand. Hey from WWII to Veitnam, this wepon was used to own anyone in their paths. Id rather have the tommy than and mp5!

  • No arguements here. If I go into an army tank units, I'm going to buy one of these things first. It would be worth every penny.

  • trum4n6969, a thompson would be impractical for use in tanks. First, they cost like $6,000 bucks, so on military pay it would take years to pay off. 2nd, they make it with a longer barrel. longer than the one in the vid. the Army probably doesn't let their troops carry unauthorized full automatic weapons.

  • You sure about that? I met a guy who carried one in Desert Storm. He was in an Abrams with the 1st ID, and he said it worked beautifully, fit comfortablly in the tank, and there was no problem with him owning it, or using it. Maybe they changed army regulations or something. And he bought it in his first year of service, and payed it all off.

  • Oh, ok. I was just going on what I heard. Times have changed tremndously since Desert Storm. Like, back in WW2, they were allowed to even bring back weapons, now they can't. So you could try.

  • Hey its fine. Yeah, I think its a shame that you can't take weapons back as souvenirs. But anyway, I could check and get back to you on that.

  • k. thx. Yeah, I was reading in Band of Brothers how they brought back lugers, p38s, etc. grrr lol

  • Yeah my Great Uncle was in the war. He brought back a sword he 'liberated' from a Nazi HQ, and a disassembled KAR 98. Sadly, he gave the sword to a museum.

  • argh. Frustrating I'll bet. I heard of a guy finding two (I think 2) Thomspons with drum magazines in the basement of a house he had bought.

  • Thats a nice find. You could probably get quite a lor for those things.

  • yeah.

  • 19 to $30,000

  • Yeah, depending on the condition..could get more. And thats just for one..

  • ...ummm... i don't know how much you know about guns, but the MP5 fires a 9mm parabellum, and the Tommy gun fires a 45cal ACP. the Thompson has tremendous stopping power but at the price of Acurracy and recoil. It was famouse for having large recoil and needed to fire in bursts to be accurate. notice how the barrels bucks around in the vid. then again close quarters, it doesn't really matter

  • oh nevermind, that is an M1

  • dude, thats a Thompson M1A1.... the M1 has half of the look of the "tommy gun" and the M1A1.

    like a mix.

  • hoora M1!

  • Holy shit! I have got to get one of those! A Can of whoop ass right there. People buy shotguns for home defense, shit give me a thompson any day.

  • 9mm SUCKS i would never touch one. 45 ACP ALL the way

  • THOMPSON ANY DAY!!!

  • If your close enough to use a submachinegun (ie CQB), its firepower over accuracy. :) Thompson anyday.

  • I agree, I have seen both fired, and the thompson is by far more intimidating and like you said "its close range" that being said, the thompson is much older then the mp5 and most would still go w/ the thompson.

  • You can kiss-ass with a MP5, but you kick-ass with a boy named tommy!

  • A MP5 is a bit more accurate though... ;)
