It is a shame there's a segment of society today who thinks that, below a certain dollar income figure, people are inherently good and, above that, are evil, and, if they are successful and black, are Uncle Toms. @toothpickdinner For your information Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican. A Republican president sent troops into states controlled by Democratic governors to forcefully desegregate schools. The Klan was formed as a reaction against what Republicans were doing with the Reconstruction after the Civil War. According to historian Eric Foner it served the Democratic Party. Learn your history, it may surprise you.
