There's a lot of people out there whose income in whole or in part comes from the internet. If they shut it down a lot of people would suddenly be in financial trouble. I'd think they could sue the government for destroying their businesses. That goes for all the businesses that get a lot of customers from internet marketing as well. There would be masses of angry people cut off from their incomes, entertainment, news, and shopping which would include thousands of businesses as well.
