I skip on these vids to the food. I know its MORE than that. Its the culture, the vibe, the history, blah blah blah. If the food looks like shit, I will NEVER visit these places...EVER. And it looks like I will NOT be visit9ing this place. I can make any of the food on an open fire....WEAK!
The Integretron WAS one of my favorite places: Bourdain! Is nothing sacrosanct? Uaaaaaaaa! Now I'll have to go look for another cool place and hope the TV crew doesn't find THAT TOO.
can i say something here... i lived in the High Desert for 2 years when my parents decided to move from LA and.. that place sucks! there is nothing but bad food and dirty people i am not saying dirty like they arent clean, i am saying dirty people like too much dirt and dust everywhere.
OK, I have been looking for bands that have the same type of sound they are playing at the 2:00 mark. Any suggestions? Oh, and I loved this episode too.
I think Bourdain is a little bit in awe, rather than not being amused, Josh Homme is the real deal, a proper old school rock n roll guy, I think its sweet.
Now, George Van Tassel's, "Integratron" for a second course of three.
Hep Meh Lord, for I know not, what Mr. Tony has in store next...
I just know I need me one'a, them there Integratrons, for a nice warm (sound) bubble-bath, with candles for affect and/or effect on cold nuclear winters ...
PS Thanks again Ms Samaritan Kumquat from Planet YouTubeular for running the bath...as it were!
great episode, it was definitely DIFFERENT but still good. This show it not all about fucking food you idiots, it is also about getting a feel of the people/culture of the area you are visiting. This was a great episode, and you definitely get the feel of the socal desert life. You get to see the brighter side of an area which most would describe as dead/boring.
@THEDUDE1948 People actually had the nerves to give you 16 thumbs up after you called them "idiots", blows my mind. And to answer you question, no I am not a Christian you idiot. Also, on an ending note SoCal desert is a dump, no place to be traveling.
P.S. Let me give you a hint, don't be writing a condescending message to other readers if you don't want to be flamed ; )
@specialagentjun Although I call them idiots, they see the folly in their ways and vote me up. Well you are dumb enough to be a Christian so I'm surprised. Even your fucking dumbass agreed with me until I used those "evil" curse words.
Flame away, haters gonna hate. I don't give a fuck if socal desert is a dump or not, I'm not defending it. I regularly travel for business to Macau, Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, San Francisco, LA I couldn't care less about some dessert
@THEDUDE1948 Don't get so fired up fat-ass ; ) You get so would up you can't even read my post right. Like I said, "I am not a fucking Christian you stupid mother fucking retard." 本当に頭悪いの~お前は。What are you trying to prove to by telling me all these places you been to(Oh~ I'm a globlal traveler, look at me~)? I read your replies and just laugh to them haha. Khun mai mee kwaam kit na~
How much food could possibly be there? And, The thing that makes this show so great is that it's NOT JUST ABOUT FOOD! It's about the heart and the people of environment. The politics and social polotics even...Go watch Food Network if you don't like it. This about culture, environment and the foods that go along w/ it. How do you not understand that??? Not to be a prick...Im just sayin... Its so obvious.
they barely talk about the food anymore, I don't know what the fuck happened but it just seems like a docu talk show about where tony just wants visit
@portugahbk sorry but disagree, this was a pretty bad episode. i love no reservations but it seems when ever the show takes place in the u.s its just not as interesting

wow, this episode sucks hard so far. Bunch of white people in the California desert ( usually means white supremacists ) playin' a couple of chords of shitty music that they glorify with some mystique shit.
@brownale66pack Wow, We don't live in a part of the UK that was rioting. I would spout something about America being poor, but... That would make me as much of a dick as you.
anybody else creeped out by this guy
