  • Canton Ohio 1970. The sky to the south every evening yellow with sulphur dioxide. Underneath all sounds the low never ending rumble of the freight trains passing morning and night. Now all the things of that world lie rusting away in the newly clean air.

  • We were there!!! Great show!! Love the Gin's!!!

  • Growing up in 1990's in an industrial town in North England, this song was the anthem to my young life. Most folks had never heard of Gin Blossoms let alone this song. I always refrained from playing it to my friends. Im sure it would have struck a powerful note in them too but It seemed too personal. We'd Sit out, top of the valley drinking, looking at the factories working round the clock knowing in 8 small hours we would be back down there with the day shift wanting to be anywhere else.

  • @Moistmuscle growing up in Detroit in the 1990s I can really relate. i spent many a night in my pick up truck drinking beer and listening to this song wanting to be free of an endless cycle of dust, oil and grime.
