  • I live in Denver and this was a very weird time walking around during the convention, lol, let me tell you driving sucked!

  • tell me what a POLICE STATE looks like

THIS is what a POLICE STATE looks like!

  • Fucking hippie

  • (vmahodge) you are ignorant!

  • Considering none of the leftist hippies have JOBS....they obviously aren't their streets...Hmmm :P

  • Yes they are worthless people

  • The American anarchist movement=disappointing.

  • hot chick second 35 lol

  • Lol! Didn't exactly fit in the picture.

  • Yeah i thought the same thing

  • The police are not our enemy. They do not create the laws-they enforce the laws that we, the people, have created. Getting involved, writing your politians, writing articles, (create a newspaper if you must), raise money for your cause, etc. These are much better ways of getting your views across then yelling in the streets. I think the police have been doing a great job considering the abuse they have to endure. You want the police to treat you with respect, treat them with respect.

  • I agree. The police are just doing their job. In large protests, there are always idiots looking to start trouble. Police have to moniter large crowds. You can hear them ordering people to return to areas designated for protest. Protestors always seem to want to resist police. That's called breaking the law idiots. They lay their lives on the line for us. Show them some respect. It ticks me off to hear them comparing cops to Facists and KKK members. What do you want? Anarchy?

  • They also ruin peoples lives, because of laws that are unconstitutional.

  • Just a general question and a very important one from...

"Whose street?"..."Our street." Thats the wrong message...in every way...tact...

    Better:

    "Whose Street?"...

    "The People's Street"

  • Protest:FIRST AMENDMENT

The Supreme Court has indicated that in the context of protests, parades,

and picketing in such public places as streets and parks, "...citizens

must tolerate insulting, and even outrageous, speech in order to provide

adequate breathing space to the freedoms protected by the FIRST AMENDMENT.

  • hahaha, I was in that group running through the parking garage. Got away from the cops, but didn't help us the next day because some of us, including myself, got arrested.

  • IM sorry but why did you get arrested?

  • I appreciate your efforts. (No violence.MLK Style) I support your efforts.

    Clarify the message

  • about 2 million more people or so and then maybe they'll have something started..

  • I liked the two alcoholics arguing in the street... reminds me of dumb and dumber.

  • if these wer blacks in this crowd, those cops would have been beating the tar out of them

  • "That, um, smelled really bad!" QOTD.

  • The right to peacefully protest is said and done all over the US. This is a good example, nice post.

  • fancy nancy says make sure you eat a well balanced breakfast before protesting.

  • This is a total fascist event. Those cops are there collecting a big fat paycheck. Those streets DO belong to the people. If they want to walk on the street, that's their perrogative.

  • What a bunch of poseur, wannabe revolutionaries.

  • doin more than ur doin sittin at home

  • Who's streets? Certainly not 'your streets.'

Just stand there for a few minutes, act tough, yell, and try to provoke a response from the police. Then collectively move along, deluding yourselves into thinking you 'stuck it to the Man.'

At the end of it all, your little 'rebellion' won't amount to squat and life in Denver will go on without you.

  • I hope Dick Cheney waterboards all of them.

  • "I hope Dick Cheney waterboards all of them."

    I hope you're next...

  • Good one freedomdouch

  • "Good one freedomdouch"

Oh my. What, are you 5 years old or something?

  • Ah yes, kindergarten...

  • get that man another beer hahaha

  • I can see why people may protest the DNC.

The Dems are the political party who may actually listen to the people.

  • "I can see why people may protest the DNC.

The Dems are the political party who may actually listen to the people."

No, they are protesting the Dems. The Dems were elected into office in 2006 to hold the Bush admin accountable. Instead, it was just business as usual. And Pelosi quickly declared that impeachment was off the table, so Bush and Cheney are as free as ever to do what they want.

  • Something tells me those people aren't going to be voting anyway...

  • wow looks pretty f***ing boring

  • 9/11 was an inside job - We live in a two party dictatorship. It doesn't matter if Obama or McCain wins, the result will be the same:

    Bigger government

    Less liberty

    Weaker Dollar / more inflation

    Pork Pork Pork

...and a continuation of the crap we are dealing with now.

  • haha ur a funny man. Hey look at the funny sheep man.

  • i was there and this was not document well

  • i love all the photographers in these videos.

this will prove a great documentary record of police presence vs a peaceful crowd who want life and nothing more.

  • Awesome! Takes me back to the '60s -- long before the corporate fascists finally took over the country.

  • Please riot.

  • Kinda reminds me of the French Revolution. they stole from the working people then, too. Let them eat cake.

    GOBAMA/BIDEN

    Restore the Constitution!

  • Ah I wish I could be there

  • excellent footage-thanks
