It really is too damn bad that Venice doesn't have an ounce of the heart, soul and beauty of this one scene! I wanted to like Venice and like many, I am desperate for a GREAT show about lesbians and their lives. However, Venice is just horrible. They have a great cast and everything looks pretty, but the storylines are just trite and boring. I loved watching "Otalia" unfold on my beloved GL. It was lovely. At least I have these scenes to watch. :)

CC was robbed of her Emmy last night. I'm so mad that she didn't win. She out shined every actress in her category and yet she didn't win. I believe they didn't give her the Emmy because Otalia was a love story between two women. They couldn't bring themselves to award CC the Emmy because that would mean that they were wrong for cancelling GL and not give Otalia a new home. CC thank you for bringing Olivia to life and for pouring your heart into Otalia, I love you and you are the best.

Crystal is going to win the Emmy come June 27th. Too bad Jessica won't be attending the Emmy's. JL was surprised that CC sent the graveyards scenes for consideration for an Emmy Nod. JL didn't think she was good enough in that scene and didn't want to hurt CC chances. Can you believe that, they both rocked these scenes...

This is truly one of the most phenomenal acting scenes I have ever seen! I can honestly say that I have never watched anyone profess their love for another as Olivia (Crystal Chappel) did in this clip...absolutely brilliant! As a side note...if you watch the tear mentioned at 7:04 you will see it fall from Natalia's face and deflect off of her coat collar! Natalia is professing her Love Too! You can't 'plan / script' a teardrop like that...Oh I miss OTALIA!!

I have watched all of these videos so many times. There is just no comparison to anything else on daytime TV. I've started watching Days of Our Lives for CC. I gotta say that show is weak and so is the acting. The Otalia storyline, seriously, is one of the best written and acted. Kudos to both actresses and the writers.

Sorry for the basic question to all you diehard Otalia fans but: Did they ever kiss? I grew up watching Crystal on Days of Our Lives but didn't follow her to GL. Now I'm playing catch up and this scene just blows me away. Very beautifully acted by both women.

I love the wonderful acting by these two. We all acknowledge crystal's great talent,but I don't think enough is said in praise of Jessica. In some ways what she does playing Natalia is particularly difficult. She has to play a character--who unlike Olivia,does not wear her feelings on her sleeve--who is outwardly more emotionally restrained. There is a beautiful subtitie to her performance which can go unappreciated. But anyway,I think they're both great.

Wonderfully put together. If you look closely you can see Natalia shed a tear out of her left eye when Olivia tells her she is in love with her. It's freakin awesome!
