@treemetree Youre absolutely wrong, the 2012 date is the completion of the 13 bak'tun cycle of the long count calendar... It is literally 5125 years long and stelae at Mayan sites provide corresponding dates to the Julian calendar and were configured for the modern gregorian. Entire pyramids were erected to symbolize the calenders signifigance and the Mayan time keepers are fully aware of the ancient prophecies. And it's not an end date, these are cycles.
Maybe what you're missing treemetree is the chaos factor in all this.

I agree, kapusoto. In the mid-to-late 90s I was a big supporter of the timewave zero idea. And I'm STILL and will ALWAYS be a massive fan of Terence. He will always be one of my biggest heroes. However...years later, so much of the theory just doesn't add up. :-/

The last 2 massive dives in the timewaves corresponded with a mass influx of awakenings. I was a product of the former. The timewave hit on the 25th seems to have been yet another acceleration date of mutation and synchronicity. No. McKenna himself never, ever, ever cited a personal experience and explicitly stated that it measures global events. You're misinterpreting McKenna horribly wrong. I gave McKenna a chance on this--it proved wrong. I still love the mans other, legit work. He was just incorrect in this.
i would not be so quick to dismiss this. i see a correlation with the recent drop and the H1N1 flu, and i see how it can and is affecting global change. during these times the fear being spread to all affected areas is increasing 10 fold. people are unsure of the swine flu shots, and are on the fence as news come from abroad of lives being lost due to this flu. explain how this does not qualify as a global event?

Your interpretation of McKenna is wrong--Timewave wasnt the equivalent to a horoscope. It was about novel events--events which would change the consciousness. Not, as has been said by some, elevations in nonextant "energy" levels.
Correct, the Timewave doesn't rely on astrology, although some major shifts do correspond with major celestial events and alignments. However you are incorrect about McKenna's ideas on shifts in both the collective and individual consciousnesses present here on the planet. I never said 1consciousness can affect the timewave - it's the collective (you must admit, no single consciousness can stand alone in the world - everything is connected). We are all part of the same universal consciousness, every individual. So as part of the group, then yes, and he DID state this. You like to make up your own facts I see. He did not set the timewave with that in mind. It originally ended on November 16, 2012 at 6am - 67 years, 104.5 days after the Hiroshima bomb. McKenna did also discuss how the timewave relates to consciousness and any related shifts in what he called the 'Gaian Mind' or collective Earth consciousness. McKenna, when he did his analysis of the Timewave, always noted specific, noteworthy events. "consciousness is shifting", if anything, seems like a new age cop-out, and excuse for the failing of the Timewave.
Well the Timewave tracks 3 major things related to the collective consciousness of the planet (complexity, connectedness, and change). It does not predict disaster only - it predicts novelty, turning points, shifts in thinking, and major changes in our global technology which in turn affect how we communicate. And the Timewave is equally relevant to personal affairs as it is global affairs. Not every major change that occurs to the planet (and you) has to be catastrophic.

Check out the profile of the guy who posted this video. Has a ton of information. The timewave was develloped by Terence McKenna, inspired by "alien" contact on magic mushrooms. He looked at the patterns of the chinese future telling system the I-Ching and noticed fractal patterns. He mapped these changes onto a graph then put it over one of our calendars. When the end of the line was matched up with dec 21 2012 the ebb and flow of change could be seen in the past and future.
I downloaded the Java version of TimeWave Zero and scaled my chart starting from today(10/16/09) to 10/30/09, and from the looks of the chart - the lowest point is at exactly the 20th hour of October 26th. The "dip" slowly starts on the 22nd, but the lowest point is on the 26th. Then on the 27th it starts to go back up.

The last 2 massive dives in the timewaves corresponded with a mass influx of awakenings. I was a product of the former. The timewave hit on the 25th seems to have been yet another acceleration date of mutation and synchronicity. Events are happening as they should, mutation has increased by yet another exponential interval. i would not be so quick to dismiss this. i see a correlation with the recent drop and the H1N1 flu, and i see how it can and is affecting global change. during these times the fear being spread to all affected areas is increasing 10 fold. people are unsure of the swine flu shots, and are on the fence as news come from abroad of lives being lost due to this flu. explain how this does not qualify as a global event?

The announcement was novel, and both announcements were present on the graph. Although the most recent 'emergency declaration' was a 'US' announcment, other countries will be pressed to follow suit. Watch for the US and UK to be instigators for subsequent H1N1 world events.

OK, I feel I really have to step in here because the stuff I'm reading is really unfounded - not only by 'treemetree' but others as well.
McKenna did cite personal experiences many times in his books, The Invisible Landscape and True Hallucinations. It's clear you're being educated solely on youtube videos rather than by picking up a book.
The Timewave measures total novelty, and many global events do coincide, but it's not guaranteed - most are personal shifts in awareness.

Your interpretation of McKenna is wrong--Timewave wasnt the equivalent to a horoscope. It was about novel events--events which would change the consciousness. Not, as has been said by some, elevations in nonextant "energy" levels.

Correct, the Timewave doesn't rely on astrology, although some major shifts do correspond with major celestial events and alignments. However you are incorrect about McKenna's ideas on shifts in both the collective and individual consciousnesses present here on the planet. He said many times that it's ALL connected, and that it ALL matters to the flow of the wave. Time is perception - in fact time would not exist without a conscious observer making sense of everything. Once again you've misinterpretted what's being said here. I never said 1consciousness can affect the timewave - it's the collective (you must admit, no single consciousness can stand alone in the world - everything is connected). We are all part of the same universal consciousness, every individual. So as part of the group, then yes, and he DID state this. You like to make up your own facts I see. He did not set the timewave with that in mind. It originally ended on November 16, 2012 at 6am - 67 years, 104.5 days after the Hiroshima bomb. (watch my video 'Regarding Zero Date - have you watched any of these or even read any of his works?). It is no coincidence that the I-Ching's wave and the Mayan's calendar end so close together - McKenna took that co-existing info and looked for best fit - the graph I use is his 'best fit.'

I gave Timewave its chance--it failed. There was nothing novel that happened in the time period given. And, I highly disagree that Timewave is something that is "very personal". Either Timewave is an absurd, false idea or it isn't.
Again, the 2012 Mayan thing is 100% nonsense to actual Mayans. So, fundamentally, it can't be accurate. It's seeing in it what you want to see in it. Which is unfortunate, since a lot of wasted intelligence is being seen.

In addition, Terence did in fact alter his own dating to match up with the Mayan Calendar's end-date.

***McKenna never stated that on TV, he discussed it with Art Bell on C2C in May of 1997. McKenna did also discuss how the timewave relates to consciousness and any related shifts in what he called the 'Gaian Mind' or collective Earth consciousness. With all due respects, you really need to research this more before debating it.***

Find the title, I'm interested. Anyway, that's one of many ponderings he had about what exactly 'zero date' will represent. 2012 marks complete connectedness via both technology and consciousness. Each ebb and flow of novelty represents changes in the connectedness (with the macro trend flowing towards infinity). on Oct 26th a young boy,13, died, due to the H1N1. they are flooding the broadcasts with this boys death, every 5-10 minutes. his death is being used to validate the fear mongering they have been doing and continue to do. he is said to have died "like a lightning strike", and that a shot would have saved him, but his family was TOO LATE...this is a very novel event, and should not be overlooked, for there are two emotions that affect us the most...Love and Fear.

Well the Timewave tracks 3 major things related to the collective consciousness of the planet (complexity, connectedness, and change). It does not predict disaster only - it predicts novelty, turning points, shifts in thinking, and major changes in our global technology which in turn affect how we communicate. And the Timewave is equally relevant to personal affairs as it is global affairs. Not every major change that occurs to the planet (and you) has to be catastrophic.

Check out the profile of the guy who posted this video. Has a ton of information. The timewave was develloped by Terence McKenna, inspired by "alien" contact on magic mushrooms. He looked at the patterns of the chinese future telling system the I-Ching and noticed fractal patterns. He mapped these changes onto a graph then put it over one of our calendars. When the end of the line was matched up with dec 21 2012 the ebb and flow of change could be seen in the past and future.

I downloaded the Java version of TimeWave Zero and scaled my chart starting from today(10/16/09) to 10/30/09, and from the looks of the chart - the lowest point is at exactly the 20th hour of October 26th. The "dip" slowly starts on the 22nd, but the lowest point is on the 26th. Then on the 27th it starts to go back up.

Has anyone looked at web bot and predictions put forward for 25th Oct 2009?It says we should feel an initial ripple on 10th, then a slightly larger one on the 15th I believe these will be the hand/plan being shown for e.g a scandal, bank collapse, a press release etc then followed by the major event on the 25th. F@!& that, I'm getting stocked up.

Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize is important, and may be that initial ripple. It is important because it may shape the way the US reacts in any future war while Obama is president. After all, you cannot accept a Nobel Peace Prize and then go about like a warmonger. You'd seem like a hypocrite. Obama is now destined to try to live up to this award and prove he deserved it, which may be VERY important historically

black all it takes is a little research and digging into the past. the pieces of the puzzle are all there. the problem is that people are too brainwashed and living in their lil bubbles, they are full of fear, and would not want to admit there was nwo or illuminati. however, the fact is, there have been countless presidents who support a new world order, they have said so themselves, do the research, listen to what they say and maybe u will see too. where u think the world is headed?

I heard a radio show with someone, maybe hoagland who said the elite/occult would sacrifice obama to bring in their new world order. This wouldn't just be any normal assassination. Problem something like 5 or 6 nukes going off then blaming it on north korea like joel rosenbergs book. I pray nothing like that happens, even to Obama, he needs to be defeated not ______.

the dow is doing well ahead of most likely a huge retraction in October. The dow will probably inch up to or beyond 11,000 before falling back to 5,000 or lower. Just watch and see.
