They have recently upped the strength to 46% and stopped chill filtering and that has made an already very good whisky absolutely excellent. It makes a big difference!!
I'm drinking 18 year old as I type this... and it is great. Also, nice little Fender in the background...nothin' like playin' the blues with a bit o' single malt in the mix!
"There's this handsome dude hanging out of there like driving a ship or whatever..." Haha awesome!

So..first you say it's peppery and hot on the tongue, then you say it's silky and soft on the tongue??

The other one that you haven't tried yet, would it be Kilchoman? :) If it is, it's pronounced Kil-Homan
Btw you should try Bunnahabhain Darach Úr(new oak cask), it's brilliant

the guy driving the ship,is "westering home" this is a scottish folk song, beautifully sung by Norma Munro ,of Islay.
A dram of Bunnahabhain in a far away place makes one pine for home :)

Beautiful again Tom. Bunnahabhain is a dram that is 'malt of the month' in many places around Scotland. Nice addition to any collection.
