いやぁ…いい音ですね。

エンジンかけたあと「ぶおーん」という音とともにゆっくり200­0回転位まで回るのがいかにもその当時の車らしくて好きです。

I had a 13B Cosmo (very rare here in England i think) unfortunately i couldnt afford 16 MPG at the time, wish i still had it, Have a Skyline now and i don't like it as much believe it or not

I am excited at the automatic with the electronic control sequential twin turbo.

Because "power was big, as for eunos cosmo, the thing of a manual transmission was damaged". Thus I listened when equipped with automatic.

maybe the manual gearbox is too weak for the huge bhp from the 20B engine?

this is the huger wankel-rotary engine right? i also know the 13B, it is smaler i think

we german invented the wankel-rotary enigne, but the japanese did make it into a perfect engine

here drive a less cars with a rotary engine, the more drive a normal otto-enigne or a diesel

The rotary engine was invented in Germany, and it was mass-produced in Japan. Simple, a compact is powerful, and it is the only engine in the world. Even endurance race won the overall victory for Le Mans 24 hours. Mazda is the only Japanese car manufacturer which won the championship in Le Mans. I thank for the vanKel rotary!

The vanKel rotary was invented in Germany. And it was mass-produced in Japan.

It is the engine which the rotary engine is simple, and is not broken.

As for the endurance race, only Mazda wins the overall victory in Japan for Le Mans 24 hours. It is a rotary engine for the first time, besides, in the world. This is famous.

I barely obtained it before a cessation of production, too.

I am just Mazda fan and we have 6 Mazda cars in our family, I have MX-3 and 626 GE which I am changing to Efini MS-6 (JDM headlights, emblems, rear finisher, interior parts, etc.).

In the past I was planning to have Cosmo imported from Japan (around 20k Euro with registration) which is not a lot, but since then I could not afford one more car. So the Cosmo is still waiting for me somewhere there. :)

Truly unique car. I am dreaming of "S" series with touch display and beige leather trim.

There is not Eunos Cosmo "S" series with touch display and beige leather trim.

It is only the "ECC" series.

However, as for the model, reinforcement suspension of the "S" series is equipped with in the latter period in 1995.

But it is very difficult to obtain it.

Eunos Cosmo was sale only in Japan.

Therefore will it be an imported car if you can look in US?

There are a lot of rotary engine fans in Australia. And Eunos Cosmo is imported.

If you could find one in the US, it would have to be imported. But there are so many regulations, you can't just import one. It has to be a vehicle approved by the DOT before you can even import it. I have never seen a Cosmo in the States, but there are a lot of guys swapping the 20B into their RX-7s. Hopefull I can do that one day! :D

Of course Cosmo is a car 19 years ago and therefore does not have the import to U.S.A. by an environmental problem.

I know "there are a lot of guys swapping the 20B into their RX-7s.", too. There are a lot of rotary engine fans in U.S.A. RX-8 won the championship at Daytona GT class in september27 last year.

The rotary engine is compact, and light weight is powerful, and there is charm!

Did Eunos Cosmo pass to U.S.A.?

t is said that Benz CL600 imitated a style of Cosmo ten years later.

Eunos Cosmo is famous by having been equipped with world's first GPS(＝Navi).

No it was never sold here. I think there are around 5 in the US though.  They actually sell for less than you would imagine.

One recently sold for $6,000 USD or ~600,000 Yen

Therefore to be a Japanese used market recently is next to nothing.Perhaps will to be a used market be around 200,000 yen?

Thank you for comment again. Someday...Are you gonna own a cosmo too? It's splendid for you! About the mileage of Cosmo... Of course cosmo uses more fuel when I run with it fast so that you hear it. However, I run Eco. I run a general road at 60-70km/h. I run a highway road at 90-120km/h. The average mileage on the general road is 5 or 6km/L. The average mileage on the general road is 7 or 8Km/L. The yearly average mileage is 6km/L.

Finally EUNOS COSMO has a mode of two "eco & power".
