I didn't create the Vjolt before after Barry saved my ass,

i was in such high-spirit too after figuring out that puzzle,

but when i realized it was too late, all my excitement vanished.

The puzzle isn't really all that difficult

since it's the kind of puzzle where it just kind of clicks once you get the ball rolling.

Since once you understand it, the writing on the wall literally tells you what to do.

I figured out the code without faq or the pass as its not hard, took me but maybe less than a min to get it. I kicked the plants ass with little damage taken so she wasted her time with V Jolt unless your playing in arrange mode

The colours are based on the red green and blue components of colour screens. That's why purple (red and blue) and green make white. :P

(to negaws) He only does if you don't use/make the V-jolt. Usually Plant42 will look or act like it dies once after you pump a bunch of bullets into it, it comes back, grabs you, and in comes barry to save the day with his flame thrower.

I'm not trying to critisize or anything but it takes away the fun from the game =P this is training mode if I recall, I never played it but it's definately easy, you barely have to do anything besides de puzzles, just shoot without saving bullets because I could probably finish the game twice with the amount of bullets you have now XD

You should check the Sega Saturn version =P it's hard as hell =P

been watching you play this game. and I only play the remake on the gamecube. and still do. but one thing I notice is the first one dont have alot of the puzzles and monsters the gamecube one has. and some of the mapping in the gamecube one is not the same with the PS one. ^.^

i thought the file button in the menu held all your info why do you need to write it down?

Because it doesn't hold all the info and there's cross-referencing involved. The file only tells what number corresponds to what chemical--the info written on the wall tells which numbers to mix together. You can't look at both at the same time, so re-writing the formulas with the color of the chemicals, instead of the numbers, makes it simpler in the long run.

Afaik, you can kill Plant 42 without using them.

As far as I know, it can't be killed unless you weaken it with the chemicals first.

I remember killing plant 42 several times with the grenade launcher, without using the V-Jolt, but when you use it, you can kill it with less ammo.

Unlikely--SH: Homecoming is a little too hard for me and I'm close to giving up on it. I plan to start over, and try to conserve ammo and health items next time around to see if I can get further in it, but it's very combat-heavy, and involves a lot of patience and strategy, and I'm just not very good at it.

Trust me--I'm sure it's funny seeing me get my ass handed to me once in awhile, but after awhile, it'd get old.

Oh man, I remember messing around with the chemical mixing... of course, I kinda missed one of the texts written on that wall, so I pretty much solved it through trial and error. Which isn't smart, unless you want to be poisoned. :P
