He's emotionally attached to his dog. That dog was probably like a child for him, So, technically, what you're saying to him would be "Your son just died, but there's millions of other kids waiting to be adopted" If you could clone someone you love so dearly, so they could be alive again. I doubt you would say no.

Hi Peter! I just finished watching your story. I cried the entire time. I immediately went to your web site and my heart was broken all over again when I read that you can't get DNA after so long. I was praying there would be a way to have my precious little Yorkie Monkey cloned. I just never thought to have her cells harvested prior to her death. I only wish I had had the foresight you did in harvesting Wolfie's cells. What an incredible blessing for you. I wish you and the pups all the best.

cloning them does not bring them back. they will be physically identical but personalities can be completely different.
