The American campaign is kinda biased lol. The European "New World" invaders have a major population disadvantage, the troop selection and count is really shiet compared to native factions... Easy for Native to win.

@tyui1200 You obviously didnt play spain like i did in the campaign. Just stack up Conquistadores, they are near immortal when fighting the Aztecs or mayans or whatever. Apache's are a problem but i distracted them by using mercenary natives and my massive economy i made out of steamrolling everything else.

its true, before such as in Rome for example manouverment was key to winning battles; with the correct use even peasants could be quite effective when flanking, but these days on Empire etc its just standing in a line shooting then waiting 15 seconds for your men to reload. Sure it has melee units but you dont get the same adrenalin from seeing them charge as you did in Rome. At least i dont anyway

I like New Spain, but the campaign is almost impossible, Native Americans can send armies of thousands upon you in a single turn, then after you have defeated their army, barely, they make a larger one to send against you the next turn...

Prince had a number advantage. He sucked the cavalry away from the main line, and in a desparate attempt to save his cavalry the opponet brought his troops off the main hill. There goes height. With them engaged with apache infantry their backs were exposed. There goes armor/tech.

Apache pwns everybody. There this ambush tactic that I like to do in the campaign which is to send my horse archers and brave thunders to attack the enemy army then retreat safely into my main army. The computer said I lost a lot of battles, but I sure did win the war.

@KingMrTexan by the way the hill camper was I....and i made that because i have never played spain before in kingdoms because i don't like factions who exploited other cultures.

To defeat a hill camper, you normally need superior archers/artillery force, in that case the deciding factor was the reason that my general died, which leaded to the rout of my units altough they were thanks to the hill winning.

spanish dragoon are not crap. they are a very powerful unit. I think their missile rating is around 17 or 18. That is pretty much the best in the game for missile cav. as long as you keep them out of close combat, they will own. And I do play online, so i will talk about it. i agree, they were guerrilla. they didn't go in formation and attack head on with those types of guys (in most cases). They would usually hide and ambush their enimey's. I wish that kinda thing could be implemented in these games.
