Elgar wrote many beautiful melodies,but none is so ravishing (I think) as the "Holy Ghost" theme in THE KINGDOM.

Superb piece, containing one of the greatest themes in all music. The Kingdom is a hugely under-appreciated work.

@scottxu Thank you. Everything I have read about Elgar shows he had a really wonderful sense of humour, as well as being a wise and wonderful man and great composer. He has been an idol of mine since my teenage years. Jack
