@zackthegoth just cut it at the weld....unasemble....then reasemble.....you can use 2 primarys from 2 transformers.........makes a nice isolation transformer
so this really isn't a step up transformer, its a one to one ratio isolation transformer. You could use this transformer for the two inductor chokes, and use another MOT as the strep up transformer. I was wondering what frquency you MOT worked at? is it around 120hz dc?

it will work.....100 to 200 turn of wire primary....stepup maybe to 200 volts...add the bifillar inductor........stan used city water......it has clorine in it......going to try that....this was just rain.....he said distilled and rain would work.... just have to see

thats what meyer did, pulsed DC to a transformer
this video clearly shows that you can do that
and clearly shows that a 1 to 1 transformer can output more voltage then you put in

this was just some junk i put together just to see.
not sure of the frequency.
i need to get a good osciliscope.
for sure you can adjust the frequency and see when the voltage goes up.
when i test the step up transformer i will post it.

im thinking of winding the tube cell plus your pulsed dc transformer
with magnnet berilium oxide ring tube ss pplate in and out and see if there is resonance
