I live in the brick house in the background i was first to see everything, i made the phone calls to 911 and everything .... since this accident i have had to stop 3 more truckers from driving over this crossing ... there is a sign right there stating that you cannot drive over them .... i will straight up beat a trucker down if he wants to try it again... that's me in the blue shirt yellow hat
We also didn't have AC for about 4 hours, until train 44 came and supplied us with electricity. After arriving to Gananoque and taking our bus to Montreal, it took us 3 hours to get there. By the time we got to my uncle's house, it was 11:30. In total, it took us 15 hours to get to Montreal. It was a 6 hour delay.
I was on train 60 when the accident happened. We were in the middle, so I think we felt more the train breaking to a stop than the impact itself. People in our car had minor whiplash, a man behind us said his left arm hurt, and he didn't look well, so they took him to the hospital for risk of having a heart attack, and a woman not far from us had hurt her ankle and was having troubles walking. There was also a girl from a camp group I believe that hit her head, but she remained in the train.

Lowboys are not allowed on crossing because they can get stuck

Lowboy trailer high-centered on the crossing?
Any advance warning signs about clearance.
Still, I'd expectrucker to see what was ahead and check it out.

He did! The F40PH-2 derailed right after, riding on the ties and ballast on the north track.
