@StepDDR Was there last week and they were working ok. It is really inconsistent. One week they are good, one week they are crap, the next they are just "ok"

@travelsonic like i played DDR/ITG for the ps2 and wii but have started playing on foot for 2 yrs and the song list reali suprised me even tho i onli stuck 2 supernova....may be goin bck nxt week 2 play actually...damn they reali reali have 2 find a way to fix the other pad lol wld be some reali reali cool matches against other if the other one did work...som1 needs 2 fix the 2nd pad.

@StepDDR The pads should work ok now - they sorta-recently did the pads for SN2, this, and the then-new DDR EXTREME acquired in September or October. I just wish they would fix up the ITG2 pads to work as damned well as they did last time I went, it would sure beat the trouble of finding a way to get to Sportime USA even if New Roc doesn't have USB slots OR R21.

@StepDDR getting better, 3 years ago I was close to doing 12-blocks in ITG/ITG2, and could do sets of 10s and 11s no problem, in DDR sets of all 10-footers were no problem... since then a lot kept me from getting better, or playing continually for that matter, but I am slowly getting back into it / finding time to continually practice.

@ddrusa Its actually Stepmania,running the incomplete SN theme that currently exists. Funny/sad they say they can't/won't put an ITG theme on there, the ITG3 theme would look badass.

I'm looking into hacking PS2/arcade [1st - Extreme] versions of DDR, BTW. Fortunately, the computer architecture textbook I used last year in my studies of comp. sci covers the MIPS architecture [which the 573, and other PS1 based systems uses], and I've been teaching myself assembly for a while.

@travelsonic do you think you can ask new roc city attendents to add a usb port to the itg2 machine?I know the machine is R8 and if they can get a usb port for the itg2 machine we might be able to upgrade it to r21 and play custom songs.Playing officials on the itg2 machine at new roc city gets pretty boring.

@DarkRod47 Dunno, I do know they [are? were?] trying to put r21 on the ITG2 machine which, even without the custom songs feature, would be a good start since the polling rate is increased [more accurate pad input?], stepchart fixes are implemented, etc.

I do know that apparently they are planning on getting to fixing up the machines some more when the new card reader system is in place, I hope that means the place only gets better, like it has been over the last few months.

Nice too see that they hacked together a stepmania cab, I my area ran a perfect SMMAX2, except for no bg videos :( . The worst part here, really, is the fact that they obtained some hack-shot pirated version that they probably paid a pretty penny for, as opposed to doing it themselves, or better yet, getting some half-decent stepmania kiddie to do it for them for a fraction of the cost (I mean fraction of the cost of the chinese/russian pirates ripping them off with somthing that is "new").

If only they could put an ITG3 theme on this machine, all the ITG 1 / 2 / 3 songs, AND custom songs separated by some logical sort instead of having 1,000+ in ONE BLOODY FOLDER! ~_~

IMO, it isn't that bad - they just need to fix some things [like how asinine it is to have ITG1/2 in one folder, and 1,000+ in another, and some of issues with the theme or the bg videos often clashing with the arrow colors], though I wish they still had not Extreme per-se, but MAX2 - that was a great mix of post-max and pre-max, IMO.

It's actually called, Dance Dance Revolution Supernova Plus Two. Although, technically it's Stepmania 3.9 w/NewNova Theme.

I think it's a slight mistake to use a theme that is currently in its beta state. They should at least choose a theme that is complete.

I agree completely - they should have used something far more complete to allow for nonstop and challenge courses, plus I can think of many themes that would look better, IMO of course.

Problem is, the initial sort is horrible - all the ITG1/2 songs in one group, the other thousand or so (or more?) songs in another, so what I would do is take photos as I reach each song on the songlist, and edit that into a compilation which I would then post as a video response.
