Asalamu Alikum sister. Nice videos, keep up the good work. I had a question; first of all why do you always cover your neck, I have seen styles that doesnt cover the neck but it does cover the head. This is the video of one girl who does head styles and it is amazing. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think; is it persmisseble in islam to keep up with the fashion or not?

@ImTheDarkAngel wasalaam sis.there are difference of opinions but most people say that the neck should be covered.I have been wearing the hijab for a while now so nowadays i cover my neck whereas in the past i didnt always. Hijab should first be worn for modesty purposes and not just for the sole purpose of it being 'fashionable'.I have so many hijab styles that i want to do that do not cover the neck so i try to stay away from these styles or i suppose you could always wear a neck scarf with it

@ABADYHWH the hijab is not a sign of a married or unmarried woman. A Muslim woman can wear the hijab at any stage of her life :)

@83laurajayne yes it can be a bit of a headache (pardon the pun) trying to find decent headbands. I like to buy loose ones and try them on in store to make sure they aren't too tight.
