This game is Final Fantasy x-2 the second girl died 1000 years ago, and this game has a battlesystem that uses costumes. Yuna(short hair) found the costume and Lenne(long hair) her spirit is in the dress. Anything you see with Lenne happened 1000 years ago. Yuna is just experiencing it with Lenne's spirit

Remember that from Final Fantasy X that Tidus was a dream of the fayth and they based him off of Shuyin. And Yuna was just born Lenne's reincarnation so it rally isn't to much of a coincidence. Because Tidus and Yuna pretty much at one time WERE Shuyin, and Lenne.
