I saw like 2 hackers/cheaters during like 3 rounds on tf2. That kinda broke my gaming experience since there was like a Heavy walking around and didnt want to die even though I emptied almost ALL my ammo on him! If Valve sees this: If not anything else, try to stop the cheating!!

No, the PS3 version of TF2 has not received any updates.
The Xbox 360 version has received minor updates with major updates soon-to-come.
The PC version has all updates.
All the versions are technically the same game, so I see no real reason for Valve to not update the PS3 version, yet they have openly stated they have no intentions of doing so.
However I am sure you will enjoy TF2 on the PS3, as it is still a great game.

That's cool. :] The highest score I've gotten is only 38, having 5 dominations and 27 kills as Soldier. I NEVER took 2fort seriously. Since it was the only map with actual 'unlimited time,' I could just fool around and piss people off by griefing. There was this thing that happened on PC when an Engie blocked me with a dispenser, me standing on the telexit in front of it and the Engie taking the telentrance to kill me. Tried on PS3. Awesomeness alert.xD Oh and instant ragequit, apparently. >D

The PS3 is more capable of this than the Xbox 360, but the Xbox 360 is getting the updates. So why is a less powerful system getting the updates, while the more powerful system is not? (Fact: PS3 is more powerful than the X360)
Gabe Newell has publicly stated that he does not like the PS3. Just search Gabe Newell on Wikipedia.

It's not a fact that the PS3 is more powerful, in real world terms they are about the same. In fact the 360's GPU is slightly better designed.
The fact the 360 gets some updates though is the fact that the Source engine has a 360 compiler while it doesn't have one for the PS3. The 360 is slightly similar in architecture to a PC where as the PS3 was made intentionally different. More time developing costs more money.
Well they only licensed it on the PS3 and as your probably know EA was responsible for the Orange Box port, right now it's their responsibility and it is them who is getting half of the money from the sales.
The updates for PC are there and it's up to EA to port them over but we all know that won't happen. It's obvious that Valve doesn't want to develop for the PS3, well at least at the moment so it was basically just EA wanting a bit of cash.
@TheWiiplayTeam When Valve released their game, I don't think they knew they would update it to such epic proportions.
They have said ( on the blog, about the Xbox 360) that they wish they could release these updates on the console, but Microsoft requires that the update cost something.
I'm sure they have an equally good reason for the PS3, if not the same one, and I
know they don't think any less of the PS3 than they do of the 360.
I feel it's ridiculous that the PC players keep saying, "Get the PC version, bitches. You're not getting your updates." The X360 didn't get updates for a while, too. But now that they are, I wasn't surprised when I suddenly hear from, "Update X360, Valve!" to "STFU if you want updates, then get the PC or X360 version! Stupid PS3 noobs."
It's despicable. If they don't know it yet, there are plenty of sick players on the PS3 that I haven't found on PC(I have it; I enjoy PS3 more) often.

the xbox 360 cant be updated because cd disc can only hold 15 gb but the ps3 has blu ray disc wich holds 50 gb so the updates can be done on the ps3 7 times over sadley i dont have a ps3 :(

You are wrong. My PC plays Team Fortress 2 maxed out with 60 fps solid. Bioshock is maxed out with 30. Crysis is on high with Natural Mod and it gets 15 to 20 sometimes 25. My PC is fine.

My idea is:they should take care more of the PC version give the PC version more patch's and the PS3 should get some bigger updates like the Scout update and so a bit more later. That's what you get for buying a Valve game on a console. They've made very clear that the only reason their games are ported to the 360 is because it's fairly easy. The PS3 is completely different. Even the PC version of TF2 still only has buggy multi-core support.
They've made their stance as to consoles very clear in the past. You don't have to agree with them, but I doubt this is going to change their minds. Just be thankful you were able to get playable version of the HL games and Portal.

i wish they would update but its not really up to valve, valve doesn't have to bandwidth or the team to update the PS3. Thats why they worked with EA to make the PS3 version. EA might start making an update when they have the time but they are just too busy with the whole Spore release and Madden and stuff. im sure that EA will give us an update as soon as they can if we just ask them.

Well, they didn't update the Xbox 360 version due to size restrictions.
The PS3 version likely has the same problem.
The updates (I'm pretty sure) take up twice as much space as the game itself.

I'm actually very good at TF2, I used to be one of the worlds top players.
If you see me online playing TF2 and I have little points, it is because I am doing glitches.
If I am playing for "real" , I will have far more than 100 points. (The most points I have ever had was just over 500, and 200 without dying)

The PS3 is more capable of this than the Xbox 360, but the Xbox 360 is getting the updates. So why is a less powerful system getting the updates, while the more powerful system is not? (Fact: PS3 is more powerful than the X360)

It's not a fact that the PS3 is more powerful, in real world terms they are about the same. In fact the 360's GPU is slightly better designed.
The fact the 360 gets some updates though is the fact that the Source engine has a 360 compiler while it doesn't have one for the PS3. The 360 is slightly similar in architecture to a PC where as the PS3 was made intentionally different. More time developing costs more money.

Well they only licensed it on the PS3 and as your probably know EA was responsible for the Orange Box port, right now it's their responsibility and it is them who is getting half of the money from the sales.
The updates for PC are there and it's up to EA to port them over but we all know that won't happen. It's obvious that Valve doesn't want to develop for the PS3, well at least at the moment so it was basically just EA wanting a bit of cash.

They have said ( on the blog, about the Xbox 360) that they wish they could release these updates on the console, but Microsoft requires that the update cost something.
I'm sure they have an equally good reason for the PS3, if not the same one, and I
know they don't think any less of the PS3 than they do of the 360.

I feel it's ridiculous that the PC players keep saying, "Get the PC version, bitches. You're not getting your updates." The X360 didn't get updates for a while, too. But now that they are, I wasn't surprised when I suddenly hear from, "Update X360, Valve!" to "STFU if you want updates, then get the PC or X360 version! Stupid PS3 noobs."
It's despicable. If they don't know it yet, there are plenty of sick players on the PS3 that I haven't found on PC(I have it; I enjoy PS3 more) often.

the xbox 360 cant be updated because cd disc can only hold 15 gb but the ps3 has blu ray disc wich holds 50 gb so the updates can be done on the ps3 7 times over sadley i dont have a ps3 :(

Updates do not install to the disk.
Neither the PS3 or Xbox 360 have a disk burner.
Any updated content would be installed on the hard drive.
And the Xbox 360 is getting the updates, the PS3 is not.

i saw an actual estimate and two of those things permantly die every month! i'm sure the answer to why valve wont release updates for ps3 are in the comments but i'm not reading em' but really the only updates i want is the snipervs.spy updates. sorry but i dont really care about maps, just weapons/ items like the cloak and dagger or the jarate (for laughs only really) but yes they freaking should update the ps3.

I already own the PC version, but my Windows XP computer has recently died completely, and I do not have enough money to fix it.
(Power supply and video card are blown, literally. The video card was smoking, and soon followed the power supply, even though the computer was as cool as a mid winter day, and was as quite as a PS3)
Basically, I need to buy a power supply, and a video card.
Any suggestions on a decent card for less than $150? (I don't even have $150 available right now)

I have the PC version, but there are many other people who do not.
The PS4 is releasing November 15th, 2011. I do not know about the XBOX.
The networks will not be changed, as the next PlayStation will be using the exact same PlayStation Network that it uses today, but it will have more features.

The PS3 is priced at $299. The X360 the same price.
The $600 PC can run TF2 on low to medium settings.
PS3 and X360 on high.
The PC cannot run Call of Duty 4. But the consoles can.
The PC cannot run high end games, but the consoles can.
After 4 years, the PC needs an upgrade, PS3 and X360 do not.

You are wrong. My PC plays Team Fortress 2 maxed out with 60 fps solid. Bioshock is maxed out with 30. Crysis is on high with Natural Mod and it gets 15 to 20 sometimes 25. My PC is fine.

YESSS!!!! Valve should update the PS3 version too. My idea is:they should take care more of the PC version give the PC version more patch's and the PS3 should get some bigger updates like the Scout update and so a bit more later. This way they continue to make the PC version the best and the PS3 version is up to date and all the PS3 users are satisfied. Hope Valve listens us

That's what you get for buying a Valve game on a console. They've made very clear that the only reason their games are ported to the 360 is because it's fairly easy. The PS3 is completely different. Even the PC version of TF2 still only has buggy multi-core support.
They've made their stance as to consoles very clear in the past. You don't have to agree with them, but I doubt this is going to change their minds. Just be thankful you were able to get playable version of the HL games and Portal.

i wish they would update but its not really up to valve, valve doesn't have to bandwidth or the team to update the PS3. Thats why they worked with EA to make the PS3 version. EA might start making an update when they have the time but they are just too busy with the whole Spore release and Madden and stuff. im sure that EA will give us an update as soon as they can if we just ask them.
