i personally like to diverse in clothing so i'm wearing ALL the clothes in the closet. but i cut the shopping to a minimum. i'm waiting for a device to break and THEN buy a new one. i've also stopped buying products i don't NEED.
Starting May 2009, I have pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion. Heres how it works: There are 7 identical dresses, one for each day of the week
wow this is so amazing ..i really love how she was so creative with that one dress and had the guts to do it... i saw all the different style of dress she wore everyday for the full year and its just awesome how she brought that one simple black dress to life.
OMG that is kool but i have a question... i looked at some of the poics and 1 pic it is a v nex but the other side has a red out line... is it really the same dress??? or does she sew things on 2 it?? try 2 awnser it
Aside from the titles, you can't really rip off a concept like sustainable dressing. Eco-fashion activists often just revive the norms of people who couldn't afford not to be sustainable; with more emphasis on being green.
But...so what? She's addressing the poverty angle and is inspiring too.
This is a total rip off of Andrea Zittel's work. She has been doing the "Uniform Project" (HER TITLE!!!!) for 18 years. I think it is offensive that this girl decided to take directly from Zittel and title it after her not give any credit to the fact that it is not her own work and then run around playing the aren't I so smart routine.
All I have to say is this is a sad lie. Get your own ideas and always always always give props to the real creative geniuses in the world.

This is the coolest project ever. It's amazing how she reinvents this dress everyday for a whole year. And it's for such a great cause.

Oh I didn't know this...but it's true! Infact the name sounded too familiar!
Actually I think the projects are quite different, she's just quoting Andrea Zittel...draw inspiration from her then invented this new project.
Personally I would have chosen a new name such as little black dress project...or whatever ;)
Personally I would have chosen
