  • NEEDS MORE COWBELL!!

  • deja un chirrido muy desagradable ... dont like me ¡¡¡¡

  • Online, Guitar Center, ir Musician's Friend

  • where can i get it?

  • Ouch. Bloody Hell.

  • Hit it again

  • hey those bell can crack?

  • you really need to have a cymbal felt between the those to if you dont alreay (doesnt sound like it). js

  • are these seperate from the cymbals theyre on? or is it just the giant bell on a cymbal?

  • @jazziestge0ff yeah they are a big bell, but they are individual cymbals that you can mount on cymbal arms and such

  • some brands make 3" ones to

  • @RoscoePT1234 wow.. i can only imagine how high pitched that wud be lol.

  • @destruction110

I have one. It sounds like breaking some glass when you hit it.

  • @RoscoePT1234 Paiste makes a 4" accent cymbal, not much of a bell, but has a glassy pingy effect. Smallest cymbal in production i believe.

  • is this bell durable? can it take a beating? and yes i know my name says i love sabian but this bell is sexy

  • @ilovesabian1n1 Zil-bells are crazy thick. So yes they can take a beating.

  • Its not about making it easier to hit the bell jackass it sounds way better too

  • i still don't the point of these things. they just sound obnoxious to me. like a zbt ride bell.

  • deffie that I like more the 7'' LP icebell sound

  • @TheDrummaster123 yea thanks man, I don't think the nut was even that tight in this video to be honest lol.

  • No, actually you don't have to have a fuckin cymbal stacker. If you have a felt under it, it is just fine bro. I have seen numerous players with just the felt and it doesn't deform the sound of the bell nor does it in any way damage both of your cymbals.

  • @Bazina666 welll i do have a felt underneath it. I'm also using a digital camera... so you can't expect high quality microphone video can you.

  • how do i attach a belll ike that? sorry for the stupid question. lol

  • @eltrslays you take the locking nut off the cymbal and then you put a felt ontop of the bell of the ride cymal, then the zil bel, then another felt and the locking nut back on. so it shud be like this- cymbal stand. cymbal sleeve (if you want to, it helps prevent keyholing) felt cymbal felt bell felt locking nut hope it helped
  • @destruction110 thanks man it did thanks again!

  • your a pussy if you need help hitting a bell on the ride!

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff bro, by the looks of the size, its prolly a crash ride, and the zil-bel has a more distinct "ping" to it than the cymbals bell.

  • @9sactown1skater6 ok BRO just to make shure BRO your still a fucking dumbass BRO

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff dude stfu hes just giving advice to you.

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff ya man i dont need help hitting the bell on the ride.. thats y the zilbel is mounted upside down so i can still hit my ride bell and have a higher pitched "ping" from the zilbel. I got a brand new ride and its got a powerbell on it so i removed my zilbel and mounted it individually. thanks for your concerns tho.

  • @destruction110 haha u fucked him up

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff your a pussy when you call people on youtube a pussys.

    Hardass.

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff you obviously have no life clicking on a video and expecting it to be exactly what it was then commenting on it

  • @TDWPMMIMAX maybe you shoudl actully buy a cymbal with a good bell on it not those cheap ass b8 hahaha the bell should never be used like you had it cause your just being gay

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff cool story bro wana put it in my basket of cool sstories?

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff and btw that is a crash that its on, not a ride.

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff some rides dont have a good bell but a good bow, so you get a zil-bel or something like it to compensate for the bad bell

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff How is it getting help? It's just a different sound, dipshit.

  • @AjaxpuffNstuff and who cares if it was on a ride. doesnt mean your a pussy. if its easier AND you like the sound then why not?

  • 0:12 stand win! xD

  • @gregorians lmfao was soo pissed at that XD

i reckon I should make a new video of my cymbals soon. re-make this one and just do single hits instead of beating it like it owes me money haha

  • ok if your going to mount it like that you have to but a stacker under it the way you got it is metal on metal

  • @imjustakid22 I have felt underneath it so its not metal on metal, and I am working on getting some money to buy some new cymbals and yes some cymbal stackers eventually. thanks for your comment.

  • @destruction110 i meant spacers not stackers. like the felt things. it would make it sound alot better

  • @imjustakid22 i was gonna say something like that :p i was gonna recommend that putting a felt between the two cymbals wouldn't be a bad idea. guess im about 4 months to late on that one haha

  • @imjustakid22 no need to waste money on a stacker, all you need is a felt between the ride and the zil bell,i use a hi hat felt, works perfect

  • i think it's stupid to put zilbel on the ride.

  • @Puppelpoeka ya im workin on gettin some cymbal stackers, i dont have alot of money right now, so i cant buy alot fo things yet.

  • @destruction110 haha :D i understand

  • @Puppelpoeka good thing its not your kit then.

  • i bought one of these today...theyre epicly cool

  • LP bells are the best imo. plus they're way cheaper

  • @passion4drums I couldn't agree more.

  • sabian ice bell is better i think

  • ive honestly never heard of anybody breaking one of these cymbals

  • @Snarizard i think they are pretty hard to break lol.

  • @Snarizard if you some day hear that some1 has broke zil-bel tell it to me :D maybe with hammer..

  • lol you beat the shit out of it

  • @thedrummer4242 haha yes :P and it's still going strong! its a tough little cymbal.

  • YEAH RAPE THE BELL!

Writing that its great for accents and using it like a hihat xD

  • how come every zil bell vid has some one beatn the shit out of it?

  • ROFL wow I was going t town on it wasn't I? but of course to show the amazing durability of the cymbal! haha

  • @destruction110 well cuz of this vid im getting that bell now cuz of how strong it is.

  • @MultiJay96 haha nice one :P

i knew this video had a purpose! XD I was thinking about getting a used 9'' bell too. it would be like 50 bucks used, and then I could do some weird off set patterns using the 2 bells and my ride. and used doesnt matter lol cuz im sure if the 6'' wont break too easy, the 9'' wud be even harder.

  • @destruction110 that sounds pretty cool, im thinkn of getting the 9" bell cuz i like to hit my drums really hard. im guessing it wont break the first time i hit it.

  • @MultiJay96 yea they both sound good (6 sounds better IMO) but yea if I could come across the 9 inch for cheap, than I'd totally buy it. solid bells man.

  • Love how you just beat the shit outta that thing!

    GET SOME!

  • @OutBack206 haha yea man, they guy who sold it to me at the store said that too. hes like. go ahead and beat the shit outta this one, u gotta be some strong mother to break this haha.

  • @destruction110 yeah i know have you seen how thick that crap is??seriously it doesnt even bend or nothing i got the same one too hey what do you think of me getting a meinl traditional byzance medium ride?

  • ya lol they are really thick haha.

Personal preference man, I personally like the meinl cymbals, but some of them sare just a little too expensive for my liking :P

I do however like the rides they have, the ones that have the weird leopardy like design on them. i think they would be a good buy.

  • @destruction110 ok kool thanx yeah know they are expensive o.o but still i like the way they sound espacially the ride cymbal that Aaron Gillespie (underoath) has it sounds so freaking good

  • ya I really like the ride cymbal chris adler (lamb of god) uses. check out chris adler-drummerworld. that ride sounds good.

  • they are little knob black spots with some deep and rough

  • @Pscmax021 thats weird dude. maybe take it in and get it replaced witha new one?

  • Hi, my bell has like small holes, is it righ?

  • hmm i dont think thats right man. the bell is just a solid piece of brass shouldnt have any holes in it. there might be some indents in it from wear and tear. but there should be only one hole through it all the way and thats the one to mount the bell.

  • Sounds to me like there's no felt between the bell, and the cymbal you've mounted on, that's bad for both of them! I used to do it, have the bell on a separate stand now.

  • I had a felt in between it, I noticed that it had like a weird vibration sound to it as well. I think it may have been too tight on the cymbal. I also have my on a new stand :P
