@cheshirecatZexion there a good chace they won't because the comics have partial nudity and a lot of cursing but the comic books are fantastic but there are some major differences between the show and comics. somethings in the comic haven't happened yet in the show yet. I would highly recommend waiting until season 2 before u read the comics because there is something that hasn't happened yet in the show that will possibly happan at the end of season 2 that is in the comic

the thing is the guy that made this vid knows The Walking Dead so fucking well! The story line and everything is shown just within thirty seconds of this opening theme. I love that it honors the comic aswell I really wish this could have been the opening for the show!

I agree with the others. I didn't start watching The Walking Dead until recently and I had seen these before. As someone who had never seen the show I thought they fit the tone perfect but now that I'm all caught up I really think they fit them at the beginning of the series but the second season seems to be taking it in a different direction and the current credits seem to fit better for that direction.

I love this intro, and I actually think it suits the tone of the show more than the current credits. Much more of the survivors out in the wilderness on their own battling the problems of surviving, surrounded only by passing by zombies rather than a creeping horde.

Before I get flamed though I do really like the credits, but I don't feel the show actually delivers on it. Gothic, creeping horror, chaos and a world gone to hell.

@crazyboxheadman69 i think this intro would be better on the actual show. i just started watching from season 1, and i think that the acting is too stylized. it's a little over the top, but i might be more into it if the opening credits were more exciting. imagine if the intro to true blood was a boring-ass symphonic score that sounded generic and sucked all of the energy out of you right before you watched the show.

This is incredible, so much better than the current intro.. bringing the artwork of the original work into the television edit is always a favourite of mine. As a few others have said, there is maybe a little too much reveal in it.. but certainly for season two. Fingers crossed!
