@pilotdave1000 It also depends on the oil pattern and how hard you throw the ball. The harder you throw a ball the farther down the lane it will go before it breaks. There are really a lot of determining factors in how a ball will react.

those are some good scores but a lot of the strikes looked to be brooklyn strikes... which for a right handed bowler is not exactly good ... i agree with halo3pv ... half of the shots you threw you never followed through with them ... and the other guy kept falling off balance and balance at the line is the only way you can be consistent with your throw

Great vid and all... But u suck. There's a hell of alot more stuff you need to do. Try keeping your thumb at 12:00 insted of 9:00. Your thumb should not move during the release. Get your thumb out first and come through the ball, cont. your release all the way up.

Its a shame that alot of people have 2 come on here & bash this kid. Give him a break, he's trying! After watching this vid, it seems 2 me that u arent coming out of the ball cleanly at all. If u notice, ur ball is not picking up a roll until it hits the dry area of the lane (approx 40ft down lane). If u throw it correctly, ur ball should be ROLLING as it comes off your hand. Try working on the feel of having ur thumb come out 1st, lifting w/ur fingers & like u said, follow through! Good luck!

ya it is, 2 main things i saw right away, 1. ive always been told to extend your elbow completely to keep your swing a little straighter and to help keep from bending ur arm, 2nd. when u drop ur other hand off the ball your supposed to bring it to the side of your body for balence-watch the pros for a better example of how to bowl

depends on what ball you have.. if you have a highly reactive ball, you'll want 3 fingers to give a better ending angle, but if you have a plastic ball, or you're using a house ball i'd use two fingers.

It kinda seems like those games were more luck than skill. From the strikes that you showed about half of them didnt hit the pocket. You really need to work on the consistency of your mechanics as you stopped your follow through too early a lot. However you're definitely not a bad bowler and with some practice could throw 200s consistently.
