I've been following the series of ads leading up to this one. The previous theme was 'welcome home', this one is 'love of continents'. It's not posted on the official tourism site of Turkey, but the previous ones are.

Apparently tourism is not doing as well as it used to do in Turkey, their golden year having been 2005. This series of ads, I presume, is part of an effort to increase the number of potential tourists.

Having followed the ads and gotten used to the images, this ad makes sense and yes, there's the thrill, adventure, it appeals to a younger crowd, and its not the typical tourism ad. That makes the tour destination stand out. It began airing recently on CNN, so I needed to catch it. And thank God, someone uploaded it onto YouTube.

You need to come and see her beauty with your eyes my friend. This 40 second clip took my breath away. It raised me to a status of Gods as I have lived there for 8 years. Yes, I had though times, but Istanbul is the pretiest of all in my mind.

When I saw the clip the first time, I said "wow" just like sikhindu did. But, I continued watching it many many times. Then, I fell in love with Istanbul once again.
